Hunger and thirst, sleep and drowsiness, food and drink, day and night, heat and cold are not kept in mind, and without looking at directions and orientations, go eastward from here, and you will hear the Prajnaparamita. Furthermore, do not be attached to the happiness of your existence, abandon all other activities of conceptualization. On the excellent path of non-conceptual oneness, if you enter well, you will accomplish your desired purpose. If one is caught in the net of attachment to phenomena, liberation will be distant and bound in samsara. Therefore, all the darkness of conceptualization should be dispelled by the lamp of non-conceptualization and then proceed. Then, that great being, although he does not have a throat, and it does not come from the teeth and palate, and there is no movement of the tongue, yet the speech that excellently shows the good path, hearing that beautiful sound like a sound, in accordance with the way it was shown, followed it in that way. By the power of this effort, when he saw that he could seek the profound truth that pervades the end of the sky, he became worried that he would see his own end, and thought: Is it that the sky is telling me the story of the path? Again, from that sound, he also heard these words: Abandon far away the wisdom of the night and the friend of sin, rely closely on emptiness and the virtuous friend, if you destroy the desirable objects and the flower-arrowed one (referring to the god of love), you will see the Gone Beyond and the Dharma speaker who teaches it. Just like playing with the body of a maiden of illusion, for the desirable objects that are skillful in means, the virtuous friend who is not faithful should be abandoned, and one should rely on with a mind free from confusion. In the sky, like clouds moving languidly, like the sound of a clear and majestic dragon, the sweet sound of good news that falls into the heart, that wonderful instruction and the stream of nectar, when entering thoroughly from the path of hearing, the mind is freed from the plague of suffering. Then, that great bodhisattva, in order to subdue the arrogance of the demon of grasping at reality, in order to seek the mantra of emptiness, entered the path of solitude. Thus, having taken the instruction from that sound, he went to the east, and before long, he thought: Alas! I did not ask that sound how far I should go, and so he wept and grieved, and
