Even the disciplined hermits will be humbled and respectful. It is wonderful that the Victorious One's conduct has been well-studied in previous lives. Zealously upholding the practice of the Paramitas, you are the father who guides sentient beings. In the boundless, profound sky, the light of your wisdom pervades. With compassion as white as the glow of the autumn moon, you are the mother who equally cares for all beings. I reverently bow to the embodiment of the wisdom and love of all the Victorious Ones and their children. You are the pillar of supreme diligence, unyielding to the weapon of laziness. Having meditated in places like Tsari, you endured the harm of cold and heat to your body. Overcoming the suffering of heat and cold, you are diligent in relieving the suffering of beings. Even the arrogant and haughty, in your presence, are like animals. Though surrounded by many foxes, they become humble before the noble and wise. You are the crown of the best of many beings, including gods, and the minds of sentient beings. Revered by all like a good hat and crest, you are not distracted, but take meditation as your food. Having abandoned the craving for food and wealth, you single-mindedly dwell in peace. You are the sole refuge of us beings, the fragrant scent of morality wafts from Malaya. Exalted by many wonders, who would not bow to you? In your heart, greed and anger are like horns on a rabbit's head. Just as the name of a rabbit's horn is not found, you have completely abandoned them in your body. Whoever touches, sees, or hears you, their body's flesh... From the depths of flesh and bone, faith arises, and the hairs stand on end without wavering, like unfeeling earth. You are unparalleled on earth, may you remain steadfast as the glory of beings. The difficult task of the thirty letters of the Tibetan script is the source of joy for the wise. Proclaiming "Haha!", this wondrous place begins with "Ka" and ends with "A". Between the letter "A", guiding with the manner of beginning and end, this is done as an adornment. This is written to proclaim a fraction of the qualities of the supreme lama, the refuge of this life and the next. By the merit of this writing, may I attain the supreme Bodhi, the basis of fame. Thus, to praise the master who embodies inseparable wisdom and compassion, who is like the peak of a victory banner among many beings including gods, the Dharma Lord Drakpa Gyaltsen, taking a drop from his ocean-like qualities, writing in a difficult way, may this become the dust of the feet of the Dharma Lord.

Composed by the eloquent poet Shar Tsongkhapa Lobsang Drakpa, whose feet are touched by many wise ones with their heads. May there be auspiciousness! Having reached the other shore of the ocean of knowledge, Dominating the island of excellent jewels, Whose fame has become an ornament for the ears of all, The Sakyapa, a place of wondrous praise. With wisdom, you see the reality of all that is to be known, With love, you bestow the feast of good speech upon beings, With deeds, you accomplish only the pleasure of the Buddhas, To you, who are difficult to name, I prostrate. You are the one with immaculate intelligence, Towards the knowledge that is without limit, Like a thousand rays of light on the path of the gods, When I see you enter, my mind, Is amazed, and as an example of that, I seek the wisdom of Manjushri, Then, seeing those two as inseparable, I cannot find an analogy for myself. Limitless The wisdom of the Buddhas, Manjushri, For the beings in the land of white snow mountains, Having come as the most beautiful crown ornament, Sakyapa, who dispels all dimness. With the compassion of a mother, all sentient beings, Are extremely happy with the means to liberate from existence, Having destroyed the army of demons with the army of wisdom and compassion, I prostrate to you, who hold the victory banner of the teachings. You, with the jewel of the Buddha's teachings, Wash away the stains with the water of reason, Cleanse with the scriptures of faith, And offer the victory banner of practice at the peak. Day and night, at all times, You, whose mind is solely on the teachings, For the helpless beings in the degenerate age, Your compassion is greater than the Buddhas. Having perfectly understood all the Sugata's intentions, Of the categories within the terminology of the scriptures, For beings who do not understand, are satisfied with partiality, And do not understand as it is, Having generated special love, for the sake of the true nature, With speech that is pleasing to the ear, pleasing to the mind, and easy to understand, You repeatedly teach, free from faults, I prostrate to you with a pure mind. The Dharma Lord, unrivaled on earth, Manjushri, unobstructed in all that is to be known, The Pandit who has realized the five sciences, The one refuge of the beings of the snowy land, Sakyapa, Day and night, I pray with reverence. From birth to birth, with the radiance of auspicious signs, May I see your body and hear the Your speech, which proclaims the supreme vehicle, without interruption.
