Words of sweet meaning, a delightful message to the ears seeking meaning. Samadhi and the like bring the bliss of contemplation to the mind. Diligently dividing the stages in this way, satisfying the mind with vast wisdom. What celebration is greater than the Buddha's excellent teachings? Therefore, may the Victorious One's doctrine flourish. The detailed reasons should be requested from the virtuous spiritual master and disciples. Thus, on the twenty-fourth, as a symbol of the gift offered from Riwo Ganden Nampar Gyalwai Ling (Pritok Monastery): As a blessed object of the northern Ra-sgreng Monastery, a clay statue of Mipham Chöje in a beautiful seated posture, one thin white porcelain bowl, one coral rosary, one lotus seat cover, and one red upright hat are offered. This is a letter of request to Chöje Karmapa Dezhin Shekpa. Oṃ Svasti. On the slopes of the mountains frequented by siddhas, adorned with the conduct of great sages, may the pair of feet that guide limitless beings remain firm for a long time on the crowns of those to be tamed. Before the one whose lotus feet are most beautiful, on the crest of those who hold the saffron robes of the snowy land, I, a renunciate who follows the Buddha, offer this with a respectful mind: The message of instructions that satisfies the ears when heard and bestows glory on the mind when contemplated, along with abundant gifts, has reached me as you commanded. At that time, the wish-fulfilling tree of the mind is greatly stirred by the fragrant breeze of joy. Your mind, which is as stable as Mount Meru, and your conduct, which is not swayed by others even slightly, seeing this as your nature, O Protector, I do not feel weary for a while. Since you bear the burden of spreading the precious doctrine, what need is there for someone like me to urge you? O Protector, you are the supreme field of merit for beings. For the sake of the stability of your feet, I earnestly pray to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas with pure aspirations, again and again. Offered on the fourteenth day of Saga Dawa, may it be auspicious! This was composed by Jamyang Pelwai Wangchuk. Oṃ Svasti. The body is beautiful with the thought of benefiting others, not with brightly colored clothes; the ears are beautiful with hearing good teachings, not with golden earrings; the hands are beautiful with giving, not with tinkling bracelets; merit

May that sovereign, who is superior with hundreds of merits, be victorious! Born from the depths of the flawless lineage's water treasury. Completely surrounded by a golden fence of auspiciousness. Blazing with the glory of hundreds of immeasurable qualities. The sovereign, like Mount Meru, stands majestically in the center of the four continents. The ruler's thought of benefiting others is like the garment of a snow mountain. The sweet and ear-pleasing rays of speech, Like a stream of water that melts well, its fame spreads. Enters the ocean of ears of all beings. At that time, with the wisdom of knowing the two laws, Bearing the burden of placing beings in happiness. Such is the sincerity of that ruler, Stealing the opportunity of other words with amazing tales. Adorned with billions of auspicious stars. To dispel the obscurations of the discordant clouds in the sky of the body, Fulfilling all wishes. I pray to the supreme deity. May the sovereign rule over Ngari (present-day Ngari Prefecture, Tibet, China) and other regions with a compassionate heart. Whatever politics that governs according to Dharma, May it not fall from the path of the Lotus Friend deity. May it increase like the waxing moon! This is presented to the esteemed Mongol prince, the sovereign of men, A white silk scarf is offered as a gift of a letter presented by Lobsang Drakpa. Detailed matters are presented by Geshe Son Gyalwa on the twenty-seventh of December from the great monastery of Dewachen (Sukhavati). ༈ ན་མོ་གུ་རུ་མཉྫུ་གྷོ་ཥཱ་ཡ། (Tibetan) Namo Guru Mañjughoṣāya (Sanskrit Devanagari, Namo Guru Mañjughoṣāya, Sanskrit Romanization, Homage to Guru Manjushri) I respectfully prostrate to the lotus feet of the unprecedented teacher of gods and humans, the great, unfamiliar friend of all beings, the all-knowing and all-seeing protector. Having repeatedly practiced in countless eons, Having reached the other shore of the collection of limitless qualities. The great treasure of eloquent speech, the supreme of speakers. The one who speaks the truth is my Refuge. A treasure of unsurpassed wisdom. Thinking solely of benefiting others. May the one who guides the world, Always protect you. Thus, to the sole protector of all beings, after offering words of offering and blessing, I begin to compose the text: Holding the teacher and the teachings as the crown jewel. Diligent in seeking virtuous spiritual friends. With discernment that is not inferior in distinguishing good and bad, Well governing the great earth with the power of merit.
