There is no destruction. If so, you should not have the Four Noble Truths. Like this, for the non-empty side, these are not feasible. For the emptiness doctrine, it is very reasonable. Moreover, it is also said in the same text: For whom emptiness is feasible, for him, everything is feasible. For whom emptiness is not feasible, for him, everything is not feasible. Thus, it is clearly explained from the perspective of going and returning. Therefore, for things, if the place and time are very cold, the feeling arises that there is nothing to grasp anywhere. If merely having this feeling is regarded as having attained the view of emptiness, then even those with very dull faculties who have not practiced can realize it, so there is no meaning of difficulty. However, that alone is not enough. Ultimately, all fixations are pacified, and conventionally, like illusions, all the establishments of samsara and nirvana are accepted. This union of the two is difficult, so emptiness is difficult to realize. Since both are necessary, if the distinction between the two truths is not understood, then the reality of the teachings is not understood. If it is understood, one will not be confused about the Buddha's intention. Relying on the ultimate truth and the conventional truth, accumulating the two accumulations, one can reach the peak of perfection. As the root text says: Those who do not know the distinction between the two truths do not understand the profound reality of the Buddha's teachings. Also, as the Two Truths Sutra says: Those who know the distinction between the two truths are not confused about the teachings of the Sage. They accumulate all the accumulations and will go to the other shore of abundance. This is said. This is said to be difficult to realize even in the assembly when the Bhagavan was alive. As it says in the Jewel Heap of Qualities: The Dharma of the guides is profound and difficult to see. No one can realize it or obtain it. Therefore, the benefactor, compassionate and enlightened, after attaining enlightenment, thought, 'Who can understand sentient beings?' and felt a little worried. This is said, and it is illustrated with an example that the mind cannot easily rest in emptiness. The meaning of that sutra is also stated in the Garland of Jewels: For the time being, the body is impure, coarse, and an object of direct experience. When it constantly appears, it does not abide in the mind. At that time, the sacred Dharma has no place to abide. How can that subtle, non-direct, profound Dharma be

Will bring happiness into the mother's embrace. Because this Dharma is profound, it is difficult for beings to understand, therefore, the Sage Buddha gave up teaching the Dharma. Thus it is said. Therefore, in general, the speaker and the listener, especially the speaker and the listener in whom this samadhi has arisen in their continuum, are extremely difficult to find, so one might think that it is not possible to just find anyone to do it. Thus, through immaculate hearing and thinking, obtaining the pure view of emptiness is indispensable for generating the pure samadhi of emptiness. Otherwise, if one does not understand the reality of things, what will one take as an object and generate it from? Not only that, but one must also seek the actual shamatha that is cultivated in a non-erroneous way, or a samadhi with four characteristics as mentioned earlier, which is in accordance with shamatha. When these two are complete, one should cultivate the samadhi of shamatha-vipashyana union, which is to abide single-pointedly on the meaning free from elaboration. If there is no view as mentioned earlier, even if single-pointed abiding arises, it is not abiding on the meaning free from elaboration, so it is only shamatha, and there is no meaning of vipashyana. Similarly, even if one obtains the understanding of a non-erroneous view, if there is no stable shamatha, the mind will be very agitated on the object, so no matter how much one analyzes with discrimination, shamatha and vipashyana will not be united, so both are necessary, which is the meaning stated in most qualified treatises. In order to cut off the wrong path of error and generate a non-erroneous view, if one describes it briefly, it seems that one's wishes cannot be fulfilled. If one describes it in detail, one feels that the burden of words is too heavy, so this time it has not been written down. In general, even if one establishes the stages of such a path, it does not seem to be of any benefit, so no matter how much the persuaders, big or small, urge one to do so, one has not done so before. Venerable one, you are different from others, and you emphasize written instructions very much, and there is also a reason for emphasizing it in your letters, so I have abandoned the elaboration of analyzing with scripture and reasoning, and have only offered it to you briefly. Please study it again and again, and if it is in accordance with reason, please put it into practice in your heart. Having gone to the holy land of India through countless difficulties,
