, and the two sixteenth hands on the left and right completely explain how to hold the Dharma implements. After that, except for "the two hands hold the wet elephant skin," it is not said whether those two hands are the first or the last. In this regard, the hands of the forty-nine deities are thirty-four, and two hands hold the wet elephant skin. The first hand on the right holds a curved knife, which is first mentioned in the tantra below. In the small sadhana, it also says: "The first two hands on the left and right, holding the wet elephant skin, a curved knife and bhidipala," like before, it is said that the two hands holding the elephant skin are first mentioned, that is, it is said that the first hand holds it. So, in these forty-nine deities, the first two hands on the left and right hold the knife skull. It is also said in the tantra that it is not contradictory because it is needed. So how to explain it? There is no contradiction. The first of the elephant skin said to be held by the first two hands on the left and right is the first of the thirty-four, which can be known from the previously cited forty-nine deities. The meaning of the tantra that the knife skull is held by the first two hands on the left and right refers to the first of the thirty-two. Jixiang Chi explains it slightly differently, but here the Lalita tradition is mainly adopted. Even so, one cannot only adopt one and deny the others, because both come from the treatises of the great accomplished ones. For example, in the great sadhana of Chakrasamvara by the great accomplished Luipa, it is said that the two hands below the first hand hold the elephant skin, and in the sadhana of the sole hero, it is said that the sixth hands on the left and right hold the elephant skin. In addition, for the creatures under the feet of Vajrabhairava, many inconsistencies are also mentioned in reliable treatises, not just the way of holding the elephant skin. The answer to the research on Dharma implements is over. Regarding the protection wheel, in your letter, it is said that the forty-nine deities of Jixiang Chi and Lalita, the peaceful wisdom, etc., do not practice the common protection wheel either, but generate the Manjushri scripture and sword holder of the tantra, Lalita is the sword and threatening mudra holder, and Abhaya is the gold

Oṃ Vajra-ghanta-dhara arise! Śrī Bhadra-jñāna-kara and others only explain the common protection circle. In the eight charnel grounds of Nirmala-deva and Lalita, the uncommon protection circle is a three-faced, six-armed wrathful deity, whose hand symbols are unclear. Although there may appear a protection circle of blood flowing like a river, and a stake appearing from other tantras, these are only rough descriptions. This tantra considers that the purpose of the protection circle is achieved by meditating on the main deity. Therefore, the great accomplished masters of Tibet did not have protection circles, but relied only on common protection circles. Furthermore, in the commentary of Acharya Akshobhya, it says, "This tantra mainly emphasizes the present action, and it can completely eliminate the wicked." In the commentary of Phra-khog-bslang, it quotes the Wrathful Conqueror of the Three Realms Tantra: "Having seen the Wrathful Yama, all other wrathful deities, all, all lose their weapons." Therefore, here the uncommon protection circle is not important. This is how to answer. If it is said that in this tantra, the need for the protection circle is achieved by meditating on the main deity, so the uncommon protection circle is not important, then the same should apply to the Lalita system. In that case, it would be unnecessary to say in its treatise that one should first meditate on the uncommon protection circle, and thus the author of the treatise would be unskilled. Other teachers should also follow Lalita's teaching to meditate on the uncommon protection circle, and if they do not follow, it should be considered a fault of those teachers. Just as you did before when analyzing the hand symbols. If it is said that by the key point of the main deity, it is permissible not to meditate on the uncommon protection circle, then the main deity cannot deviate from having the complete fierce appearance, and for that, many protection circles must be meditated on beforehand. The reason is that this is also similar to the common protection circle. Like the Guhyasamaja Arya lineage, at the time of the mandala Chakrasamvara, even if the ten wrathful deities are meditated upon, it is said that the protection circles of the ten wrathful deities must be meditated upon beforehand, so it would become that the later ones are sufficient, so the earlier ones are not needed, so it is uncertain. Therefore,
