Someone said that a concise and pithy statement on how the three fruits, kāyas, wisdoms, and activities arise is needed, so I say this: The treatises of the wise have two bases or methods: using scripture and reasoning as the basis for cutting off superimpositions, and as the basis for engaging in the activity of purifying defilements. According to the first method, there are two truths: the ultimate truth, which negates the extreme of existence by being free from elaboration; and the conventional truth, which abandons the extreme of non-existence by means of illusion; thereby liberating from the evil views of extremes such as superimposition, denigration, permanence, and annihilation. According to the latter method, the essence of the mind with defilements, whose nature is primordially pure, and the defilements are separable and adventitious. Having recognized this, one should strive to purify the realm. The actual method for purifying defilements is emptiness. However, the complete purification of defilements and habitual tendencies through this path depends on limitless accumulations of merit. Therefore, vast practices such as generating bodhicitta should be practiced like a river, without ever being satisfied. This is the path that pleases the Buddhas and their heirs; clinging to one side is merely pleasing to children. From the profound accumulation of wisdom arises the dharmakāya, and from the vast accumulation of merit arise the two rūpakāyas. This is the ultimate result, the supreme basis for the two benefits of oneself and others, respectively. Just as taste and form are inseparable, depending on a single collection of causes, so too, the collection of causes for the two accumulations depends on one, and the two kāyas are inseparable. Without the mind that knows the suchness and the extent of things, there is no Buddha's body, and the rūpakāya is empty. The dharmakāya also does not exist, therefore, on the ground of Buddhahood, these two are united. From this, spontaneous accomplishment without effort arises, and the continuity of abiding in samsara is never interrupted. With activities endowed with two special qualities, the two benefits are granted to fortunate beings as they wish. From the depths of my heart, I am completely devoted to accomplishing enlightenment. O guru, who is burdened with the weight of qualities, please transmit the meaning of the question with a brief answer. As you said, I have briefly recorded it here. The subtle and difficult-to-understand path of the great sages, the profound Madhyamaka path is difficult to fathom, therefore, it is not easy for you, who are endowed with discernment, to be satisfied. Pray to the guru, the supreme deity, and having matured your mind-stream through many methods of accumulation and purification, then repeatedly analyze it.

From above to above, wisdom excels, and even the most subtle points become clear. With this letter as a token of a gift, I recount the realization of Sadāprarudita, and offer a trinket sewn onto a piece of my own clothing. Furthermore, regarding the Vajrabhairava (Rdo rje 'jigs byed) sadhana that I composed, you have raised four objections. In the section on faces, the master, in the sadhana of the Eight Revolving Corpses (ro langs brgyad bskor) of Lalita, says: "The three faces of the right horn are, first, dark blue, the right is red, the left is yellow, extremely wrathful. Similarly, the root face of the left, white, smoky, likewise, black, extremely wrathful." Thus, the middle of the right horn, and the middle of the left are also made into root faces, and these are explained in order as blue and white, and although it is said that those are the first faces. However, in the sadhana of the Forty-Nine Mothers of Lalita, there are three faces at the root of the horn, the first face on the right is blue, to its right is red and yellow, the three faces at the root of the left horn are, white, smoky, and black. This contradicts the former. Because "right red" the "right" is the initial qualifier, it is said that yellow will appear to its right, and here it is said in order white, smoky, and black. Apart from this Eight Revolving Corpses, in no other tantra or sadhana has the term root face been used for the middle of the left and right. If this master thinks so, since he is the one who received the tantra directly from the land of Oddiyana (O rgyan), there should be many followers in India who explain it in this way, but nothing has happened, so this seems very doubtful. Then, how can one justify "left yellow, extremely wrathful, similarly, the root face of the left," etc.? The former is a translation error, and the latter is a loss of letters, that is, the word sābyata, which can be interpreted as both left and other, here it means other. Because the first is dark blue, and it is clearly said to be right red, the other can only be yellow. Therefore, this is a translation error by Choktru Sherab Lama (Cog grub shes rab bla ma), it should be recited: the first is dark blue, the right is red, the other is yellow and wrathful. The second is that the face of the horn root has dropped into the root face, in the sadhana of the Forty-Nine Mothers.
