Is it not necessary to say it verbally without charge? Or through a messenger or other person? Whether the weaver is a relative or not, whether a householder or a renunciate, and whether oneself or a non-relative, both paying and not paying are included, it is related to others. If someone is made to weave, then the act of making weave is not done by a non-relative. Therefore, if a relative sews, there is no transgression; if it is a non-relative, it is a root offense. If it is due to one's own part, it is a minor offense; if it is due to the other's part, there is no transgression. A minor offense should not be compensated after the production is completed. This contradicts "should not be compensated after the production is completed," but it does not belong to this situation. Similarly, sewing with payment has no transgression; sewing without payment leads to transgression. For renunciates, it is a medium offense; for householders, it is a root offense. If so, then previously being a relative, sewing with payment, and later becoming a non-relative, sewing without payment, would become a root offense. Therefore, it cannot be counted as not starting the production before, it seems like one yard of cloth needs to be made. For motivation, it is necessary to examine whether there is a stealing mind, and whether it is because of special greed that one wants others to weave. Ultimately, it is said that greed arises from the reward, thinking that one yard of cloth is enough, it is necessary in that place and time, it seems that the usual wage does not need to be paid. When generating the weaving act, the place where the weaving act is generated is: the weaver and the patron are both householders, etc., it is said that six conditions need to be met. For different items, these two should also be different, and it is not arbitrarily arranged for the patron to generate the weaving act. The items are: the material of the cloth is qualified, it belongs to that patron, and the production has not started, a total of five conditions. In order to avoid transgression, the cloth to be examined is derived from the patron's idea, that is, the intention. If the weaving act is generated, then this person becomes the actor belonging to the branch of abandonment. This needs to be put in the branch. That is to say, when a monk makes a weaver generate the weaving act, it is necessary to connect this matter, the meaning of this matter is: the cloth should be wide, that is, the width should be large, the length should be long, the texture should be good, that is, the warp and weft should be even, the quality should be good, there should be no gaps, the thread should be good, it is necessary to connect any two of these. If connected in this way, if the patron's doubt disappears, then it is a root offense. Here, it seems necessary to eliminate the doubt of one yard of cloth exceeding the specified size.

Furthermore, in the production of weaving, if doubts are not eliminated, but no reward is given, it is a fundamental offense. Also, because the word "also" indicates that doubts have been eliminated, and both are separately pointed out as the perpetrators of expiation. Rewards are the same whether promised or not. If the weaving is completed, it is a fundamental offense, and if the promise is not fulfilled, it is also considered the offense of taking without giving. Here, the previous people mistakenly associated the offense of engaging in weaving without giving a reward with the fundamental offense. For weaving, there is a situation of not giving a reward separate from the production of weaving. Based on this and the completion of weaving, if the doubts beyond the expected are eliminated, even if a reward is given, it will be an expiation offense, and if the doubts are not eliminated, in order to commit an expiation offense, it is necessary not to give a reward. Associating the ultimate attainment of wisdom with this is also wrong. If it is completed, it is a fundamental offense. The meaning of this sentence is that if it is better than what was entrusted or the result is better, then here there is only the fault of the fundamental offense, so it is said in the commentary. By the word "giving," it conforms to the discipline of a Bhikshu. Here, if what is promised is not accepted, then the weaver is also the donor. If the donor promises to make better things, etc., but the weaver does not accept it, then the weaver is also like the donor, which needs to be considered. Before the clothes are completed, for the sake of completing the clothes, all the different subsequent actions arising from thought, such as going for alms and searching for materials, are the perpetrators of one offense, but standing up from the seat, etc., are each different. The donor says to the Bhikshu, "I will have clothes woven for you, please check from time to time." If he does not instruct in this way, but goes with the idea of pursuing beauty, even if he says nothing, it is an offense. Regarding the expiation of robbery, the Bhikshu who is robbed himself, possessing the pure precepts of a Bhikshu, consistent with views and name, possessing three terms, the body in a normal state, different from oneself, possessing these six conditions. The "Bhikshu possessing six conditions" not specifically distinguished below should be understood to refer to this. However, if what is relied upon is completely pure, it is like this, and if what is relied upon can be restored, then the place can also be replaced by what can be restored. The so-called "should be robbed" refers to
