Thus it is done. The distinctions are as follows: Intervening in the schism before admonishment, and assisting in the schism, and knowingly saying things like wanting to go even though one has been expelled, and the training grounds that belong to the monks who are to be punished, and that which is in accordance with the Dharma of the Sugata's Sutras, and speaking in accordance with the Vinaya, if one makes oneself not to be mentioned, then everything will become a misdeed. Thus, it is said that the four are the same. Then, for the first two residual offenses, if there is a misdeed in intervening before admonishment, then the special case of intervening in conjunction is expulsion, etc., why is it only explained for the latter two residual offenses? Because the intervention of intervening in conjunction, as explained in the commentary, is the intervention after admonishment. It is an intervention that does not give up even after admonishment. And the two, schism and following it, from the moment of starting to do that thing, the admonishment is established, and for the latter two, in the case of not being expelled and not being reminded, even if five admonishments are made, the intervention that does not give up only has misdeeds, so there is no fault. For those who have been expelled and not reminded, one should not admonish until the admonishment. Reminding is, reminding on one hand, and remembering is completely remembering. What is the basis and circumstance in which the residual offense arises? If one does not give up at the end of the admonishment of the action, that is, at the end of the third statement of the action. There are four kinds of individual definitions, the first is, what thing if one does not give up, will it become a residual offense of splitting the Sangha? It is instigation, that is, harming others themselves. Where is the instigation done? In the place of division. Who does the division? It is the Sangha, in short, for the place of Sangha division, if one does not give up from the end of the third statement of one's own taming action, it is a residual offense of division. It is unreasonable to think that this is the same as the division of the wheel. For those who should be divided, they are ordinary beings, complete with eight or more people, suitable for supplementation, that is, three, and for the dividers, from the perspective of Dharma, dividing towards the non-Dharma side, suitable for supplementation, that is, saying two. What if one does not give up, will it become a residual offense of the follower? It is assisting the Sangha splitter.

, if one does not relinquish it as if making an effort, it is a saṃghāvaśeṣa. This is called the seven actions of engaging in making friends with those who are of the nature of division, based on a bhikkhu possessing six qualities. If one does not relinquish it, will it become a saṃghāvaśeṣa that destroys families? For a bhikkhu who destroys families, desiring the saṃgha with an evil thought to expel himself, or due to the control of hatred, delusion, and fear, (the bhikkhu) lies, saying, "I requested the action of expelling the saṃgha in this way," if one does not relinquish it as before, it is a saṃghāvaśeṣa. Here, the object to be expelled is: one or more laypersons who do not possess any signs or vows of ordination. The basis for expelling is: violating the precepts of desire, or proclaiming the faults of others. The object of accusation is: based on possessing six qualities, participating in the enjoyment of the saṃgha, and engaging in accordance with the Dharma to expel oneself. The object to be understood is: possessing five names, an ordinary body, and three that are different from oneself. The support is: being associated with making an effort to expel, this is what is called (the support). If one does not relinquish it, will it become a saṃghāvaśeṣa that is displeasing? A bhikkhu controls the one who points out the downfall with superior precepts, and if he is talking, he says, "No bhikkhu should talk to me about any precepts," thus, for his own precepts, all bhikkhus should not speak, if one does not relinquish it as before, it is a saṃghāvaśeṣa. If bhikkhus and specially excluded training grounds do not speak, it is a duşkṛta. The object to be abandoned is: all that exists in the ten directions. The object to be understood is: Based on possessing six qualities, it refers to the one who accuses me, this is what is called six. The support is: attachment to the memory of talking. Homage to the all-knowing one. The third section is on expiation, for some downfalls, it is not enough to merely confess, one must abandon possessions, the niḥsargika pāyantika, there are two types, common and uncommon, in the first there are five, the common related to time is the four sūtras. The meaning of the words is: for that which is not the first, there is "now there is not"; for that which is not the last, there is "not" so it is said, the meaning is apparent. "Now there is not" refers to having passed the night. Therefore, the limb of abandoning is also not the last.
