And, the great dragons such as the pot-bellied Joyful One, etc. Pretas are those whose toes of one foot face outwards; flesh-eating pretas are: a type of preta, great black demons who eat flesh as food; pus-filled pretas are: those whose limbs' fruits become like vases, such as vase-noses, etc.; karma-failing pretas are: a type of preta who take people's lives, and it is said that their faces and noses grow on their chests. This is said in the commentary on the base. "Cessation" means: "coarse," and is connected to the ten things such as sight. Speaking from the aspect of self-nature, there are two types, of which the main text is: "impermanence," etc. "Cessation" means "coarse," and quiescence is samadhi, which has two types: aspiration-based attention is: "immeasurable," etc. Reality-itself-based attention is: "impermanence," etc. If both of these samadhis are encompassed by meditation-born and uninterrupted, it is a defeat, because its reason is holding onto one's own characteristic, which is the knowledge born from the desire-realm's hearing and thinking, and there are two types: those that can harm afflictions and those that cannot harm afflictions. The first is: focusing on the unattractive, etc. Speaking from the aspect of its dharma, it is: "having it," which means speaking generally and then applying the reason to oneself. In cessation, reproach is: "it exists now." What should be learned is "without thinking," etc. Expressing through questioning has two types: "lama," etc. On this, the commentary says that what is said about the four fruits of a renunciate, etc., is only transcendent of the world because what is tainted may be lost. This is what is said, and it should be examined. If one thinks and speaks about losing what has not been attained, if one believes in qualities and wants to abandon desire, it is the coarseness of the flank, and if the thought is real, there is no fault. "Cessation" is what is said about "lama," etc. The expression of taming has two types: accepting praise of qualities is: "coarse is," which means arhats and robes, etc., are most worthy of offering, and brahmins eliminating sinful dharmas, etc., and at the beginning, "a monk is," etc., and at the end, adding "not saying anything," etc. Very tamed is: through meditating on the unattractive, etc. Hidden is: the arising of the untainted path. Very guarded is: through mindfulness and awareness, etc. Very cultivated is: the manifestation of the absence of afflictions, etc. Accepting is.

Because saying it twice results in defeat, one should not say anything. If others understand its meaning, it is a grave offense; if they do not understand, it is a minor offense. It is said that the *Light Sutra* states that it needs to appear in the *Vinaya*. Accepting reverence and praise is called a *bhikshu*. The term "long la" means to cleanse through giving and receiving. Similarly, practice is to silently receive alms, etc. "Second section, the remaining offenses are restored by the Sangha. Because they are restored, there are three categories of Sanghavasesa offenses. Of the two arising from desire, the remaining offense of emitting semen, which arises from desire for sentient beings within, clinging to the pleasure of one's own seed, is: a dream, which is the mind in sleep. Its object is like a woman. Although it exists materially, it transcends worldly terms. A dream that is like non-existence. Its result is changes in body and speech, and emission of semen, etc., which is the very thing that was not done. What action, if done, would quadruple the remaining offense of emitting semen? If it is ejaculated. The motivation is the desire to ejaculate. It is not the emission of the mind due to running, etc. What substance is emitted? Semen, one's own, and the three that remain in the initial position. Pleasure, etc., are things to be done intentionally; there is no distinction of offense for these. In what way is it held? Not merely through inappropriate attention, etc., but through touch. And not merely contact, but through effort such as rubbing. What is the basis of touch? It is through effort such as rubbing. The basis of touch is the area of the thighs, etc., not other areas, but the form of the limb, the male organ. The toucher is not only the internal organ and another's hand, but also the external. Among these, what is counted as sentient is a dead body, and what is counted as sentient, and what is not sentient, such as clothing, are two. Counted as sentient, such as cutting off a hand, etc. Even what is counted as external may not be the form of a sentient being, so in order to transcend that, abiding in the form of whatever one's own form is, that is, if any limb touches and emits without losing its own form, it becomes a Sanghavasesa offense, and not merely touching and emitting from the mouth with the hand. Emitting after losing the form of the body is a grave offense.
