And the three statements about sleeping excessively at night, and about touching, are said to be in order. A person with wealth should check whether or not it is the auspicious goddess. The three non-principal obstacles are the same as before, except for the distinction between oneself and others. Examples of permission are: permission for those caring for the sick to sleep excessively at night, permission to apply perfume to the body, and touching others' treasures without fault, etc. There are three cases of not falling due to inability to accomplish. As for not falling due to lack of knowledge, it has already been said. Just as there is no falling due to internal regulation, it is the same as what was said before. If a regulation that needs to be prohibited simultaneously is prescribed, then either one is allowed, otherwise it will become impossible to accomplish. The absence of falling due to inability to accomplish due to difficulty is like what is said to be done by the assembly of five in remote areas. Regarding the meaning of the words, there are three, among which, the principal eliminator not falling is: if one steals unintentionally, how should it be treated? It is called "unintentional," which means there is no thought of stealing due to confusion, such as taking clothes from under the eaves. If one says, "with the thought of stealing," then what will other thoughts become? It is called "oneself." Mentioning the absence of the thought of stealing one's own property, and regarding the word "others," it is said, "entrusted to these people," but not, "it should be understood as others," why is that? Even if one knows it is one's own property, there may be the thought of stealing, and the scriptures say, "it should be understood as others," so there is no fault. For taking without the thought of stealing other than the first three cases, there is also no fault. For example, if a monk tells a monk, "Go and steal so-and-so's belongings," if that person steals with the thought of stealing, then both will fall equally. But if this person thinks it is his and takes it, then the taker will not fall, but the one who instructs the stealing will fall. It is like what was said after being asked. The thought that puts compassion first arises from meditation, so it is different from the following. The non-principal elimination is that there are two "all," namely general and specific. The elimination of value is that stealing or instructing to steal five mashakas, etc., if it is said to lead to defeat, then it is to show that the best should be said, to show the page number of the Kumbum woodblock print. (If you steal the best.) The most

It is called "Gapa" and so on. "Gapa" means: From here to "compassion," it indicates that it is under the category of gross offenses. This includes four situations such as not giving, even if the value is not reduced, stealing or instigating theft, and sending others to steal will also become a gross offense. Some commentators in the commentaries believe that not having three or two branches constitutes a misdeed, for example: being completely controlled by non-humans, but thinking that it is controlled by non-humans, or thinking that it is controlled by humans, stealing precious items is a misdeed, because the branches are not complete. Similarly, items not completely controlled by any owner, as well as precious items, being completely controlled by non-humans, and not realizing being controlled by non-humans, are only misdeeds. If there is no intention to steal, there will be no downfall, because this is the fundamental branch, and the rest are its branches. Therefore, not having three or two branches is counted from the five branches of the four root downfalls, not from the five branches of gross offenses, because precious items cannot be missing. In this way, if one is controlled by non-humans, realizes being controlled by non-humans and steals precious items, it is a misdeed of not having two branches, if one knows being controlled by humans and steals precious items, it is not having three branches. Items not controlled by any owner, and items controlled by non-humans, the two do not belong to the same basis, so combine "Stama" and precious items, combine the latter and not realizing being controlled by non-humans, and each constitutes a misdeed. Saying that being controlled by non-humans is a misdeed before is not contradictory to this, because here even alcohol is a misdeed of not having two branches due to mistaken consciousness. Excluding by "owner" means "master," meaning having ownership, but not thinking of it as one's own in mind, stealing such items is a gross offense. For example, if a Buddhist entrusts the property dedicated to the Sangha to a attendant for care, if the attendant steals these properties, it constitutes a gross offense, because the thought of considering the offerings as belonging to the Sangha has not arisen, so there is no violation of the four root downfalls. If the treasure has neither an owner who understands the meaning nor an owner who does not understand the meaning, what will happen? Like items with unpleasant sounds, if there is no intention to steal, because there is no owner, there is no downfall, if taken with the intention to steal, it is a gross offense. If the owner does not understand the meaning, then this treasure is less than five "Mashakas" and so on, the owner does not
