How should the things of the monks be distributed? The term "Venerable" refers to that which is unrelated, and is the name for all the alms bowls and other items obtained from the Sangha. A monk's alms bowl has only two connections: having been blessed and used by oneself, and also having autonomy when it is completely abandoned. What was not mentioned before is unrelated because it is separated from these two connections. For the sake of the monks' dwelling, it is necessary to lay out cushions and so on. This is praise for the alms bowl. "Elder" is a term used to address senior monks. "Very clear" refers to a color that is pure, without impurities, and beautiful. "Good shape" refers to being up to standard. "Tolerable to use" refers to being without holes and breakages, etc. Regarding commissioning weaving, the objects of commissioning are six, namely householders, etc. It is necessary to add the qualification that it is "not what the Teacher taught before the sixth combination is given," because of the consideration of remuneration. The objects to be commissioned for weaving must be cloth material, usable, up to standard, autonomous, and not previously worked on; these are the five. "Material" refers to doubt. "Standard" refers to one cubit. "Reliance" refers to not giving remuneration. Without remuneration, is it through a verbal request, or through a messenger or someone else? Whether the weaver is a relative or not, householder, ordained person, oneself and non-relatives, giving remuneration, not giving remuneration, both included, refers to being related to others. If weaving is commissioned, then the commissioning of weaving is not done by a non-relative. Therefore, if it is done by a relative, there is no offense, and if it is done by a non-relative, it is a root offense. On one's own part, there is a misdeed, and on the part of others, there is no offense. A misdeed means that one should not make amends after the work is done, which is contrary to "one should not make amends after the work is done," but it does not belong here. Similarly, giving remuneration is without offense, and not giving remuneration is an offense. For an ordained person, it is a minor offense, and for a householder, it is a root offense. In that case, previously a relative, giving remuneration, and afterwards a non-relative, not giving remuneration, becomes a root offense. Therefore, one should not combine merely because the work has not been done before, and it seems that it needs to be done within the range of one cubit. Regarding motivation, apart from thieving thoughts and special attachment, wanting to commission weaving requires examination. Ultimately, it refers to the arising of satisfaction from the remuneration.

That is to say, if the length of the cloth reaches one zhang (a unit of length), it is necessary to pay the prevailing wage at that time and place. Regarding the initiation of weaving, the location for initiating weaving is: both the weaver and the patron are householders, etc., possessing six conditions. Regarding different items, these two are also different, and it is not arbitrarily arranged for the patron to be able to initiate weaving. Regarding the items: the material of the cloth is qualified, it belongs to the patron, and it has not been made, which are considered to be five conditions. In order to eliminate downfall, the cloth to be inspected is from the patron's intention, that is, intention. If weaving is initiated, then it becomes the actor of abandoning the limb. This needs to be added to the limb. That is to say, when a Bhikshu has a weaver initiate weaving, it needs to be combined with the following points, the meaning of which is: the cloth is wide, the length is sufficient, the quality is good (i.e., the warp and weft are even), the yarn is good, there are no gaps, and the weaving is tight. It is necessary to combine with any one of the above two points. After combining in this way, if the patron's doubts are eliminated, then that is the real situation. Here, it seems necessary to combine with the situation where the doubts about one zhang of cloth exceeding the specified size are eliminated. In addition, even if the doubts are not eliminated when weaving is initiated, if the reward is not paid, then that is the real situation. It is also said that the elimination and non-elimination of doubts are respectively considered to be the actors of abandoning downfall. Whether the reward is promised or not is the same. If the initiation of weaving is completed, then that is the real situation. If it is not promised, it may also constitute the offense of not giving and taking. Here, the previous people's association of the act of weaving without paying the reward with the real situation is wrong. The act of weaving refers to the act of not paying the reward that is unrelated to the initiation of weaving. Based on this and the completion of the initiation of weaving, if the doubts exceeding the specified size are eliminated, even if the wage reward is paid, it will lead to abandonment. When doubts are not eliminated, it leads to abandonment because it requires unpaid wage rewards. Associating the idea of ultimate attainment with this is also wrong. Completion means that if the entrusted matter is completed, whether the cloth is wide or the quality is good, then here there is only the fault of the real situation, this is what the commentary says. Through the word "giving", it can become the Dharma of a Bhikshu. Here, if it is promised but not accepted, then
