It is a householder, possessing five names, with an ordinary body. Oneself and those three, also from the perspective of substance, the four differences are common. Specifically, the attendant does not promise to protect the donor's mind. Ultimately, it refers to the arising of the thought of obtaining. Non-humans divide three into one, and divide two into three. Humans divide two into three, and divide three into one, these are eight situations. Having said eight situations in this way, one is a downfall offense, and the other is a misdeed. If the attendant speaks the last words brought by the messenger, and then urges the monk, it is a misdeed. If the messenger brings the price of the Dharma garment, as previously stated, if one accepts it without abandoning it, it is a misdeed. If one instructs the attendant without asking, it is also the same. If there is no hope of obtaining the garment from the attendant's hand, it is also the same if one does not tell the donor. Some say that this ritual shown in the root text is for valuable items that have not been properly treated. If they have been properly treated, there is no offense even if one accepts them. If the donor is targeting the price of the garment, and the monk also has such a need, then this shown here is necessary. If one entrusts with an external thought, and the monk also has needs such as offering to the Buddha and the Sangha's feast, then one should properly treat it and take possession of it. This is the statement of the commentator. Regarding the abandonment of silk cotton, the mat is of two types: edged and lined. Those two are also called soft and cotton-cloth. The seat and the mat are different, because the shape, need, and permission/prohibition are different. Therefore, silk cotton can be used to make mats, but not seats. The width of the seat is the same as the mat, and the length is best at five and a half spans, and worst at three and a half spans. Medium is the middle of those two. The outer skin of the lined one also belongs to the category of seats, so there is no abandonment in holding it. The best and worst sizes of the seat, larger or smaller than those, the blessing will not increase, and it is not allowed to take possession of it for enjoyment. Here, the silk cotton is soft, of qualified size, autonomous, not an item used for more than four months, not mixed with other pleasing items, rare and expensive in the area, and has not been previously made, thus possessing eight qualities. They say so. Of qualified size. The ultimate size that covers three circumferences, only that much will become the actual basis for a downfall.

It is said that if the size is small, it will constitute a misdeed. It should be examined whether it is similar to three and a half cubits (khru phyed dang gsum). The size is similar to all three of the following situations. Is it only a material fault to mix with other things? Because it is said that both situations of mixing with it will constitute a misdeed. For wool, etc., it is also said in the same way, so material damage and mixing with it are also applicable to the following situations. Other white wool, or cotton, or absorbent cotton, etc., mixed with a small amount of silk to make a cushion, it is said to constitute a misdeed, which is in terms of all cushions. The so-called small amount means that if mixed evenly, it will constitute a fundamental transgression. If silk and black wool are mixed evenly to make a cushion, it will become a spar bra sin. Therefore, the difference between situations where it is not mixed with other things should be understood. Only black wool is similar except for replacing silk with black. Is mixing two parts worse than silk or the like? It shows that mixing with it will constitute a misdeed, because white wool is worse than black wool, and coarse wool is even worse, so it is considered that mixing with them will also constitute the same misdeed. Regulations for mixing two parts have been made. If inferior substances such as cotton and absorbent cotton are mixed with black wool, it will constitute a misdeed belonging to the use of only black wool. This shows the abandonment of mixing two parts before, that is, silk must be abandoned. If the amount of white and coarse wool is less than that of black wool, then it will become an abandoned object after mixing. If the amount of black wool exceeds half, it is an abandoned object, and if the amount of white and coarse wool exceeds half, and the black wool is less or equal, then there is no transgression. This shows that when cotton and absorbent cotton, etc., are mixed with them, there must be more black wool, and if they are equal or less, there is no transgression. The so-called half white means that more than a quarter is white. More than a quarter is coarse wool. If the former is more, it constitutes a misdeed, and if the latter is more, there is no transgression. Half is black. It is said that the remainder is half a srang. In that case, In places where black wool is scarce and expensive, use silk and black wool, and in places where there is no black wool and it is cheap, white wool should be used instead of them. At that time, there is no transgression for silk and black wool, but white wool will constitute a transgression. It's like only white exists.
