It is not given, nor is it appointed, building like this is inferior. Therefore, even if the words in the following text are kept as they are, there is no additional meaning because the connecting parts are incomplete. In these cases, the saying "if allowed to do" often appears. The scripture says that "allowing to build" refers to oneself or others. Therefore, even if one does it oneself, the word "allowing to build" is used, and it should not be understood as merely seeking others. The scripture says, "The one I built, the ownerless one, is it allowed to build a house for me?" and "The one with an owner, is it allowed to build a large temple for the seven virtues?" For houses, the place of construction has no owner, while large houses have owners. For the latter, the commentary says, "The undertaking of the temple, due to the power of the four continents, is with the owner." This is just saying, not a part, because even if it is ownerless, it is for the purpose of buying land, etc. For allowing to build on the land of the Sangha, it is the same." This seems to apply to houses as well. Since it is not specifically stated "for one person," whether it is for oneself alone, or for another monk, or for a layperson, it is remaining. Therefore, the commentary says. The distinction says, "For oneself" means dedicated to oneself. Therefore, the purpose of one person and the purpose of the group, although both can refer to the enjoyer and the owner, here it refers to the owner. Those with the abode of tiny creatures are called the illusory sinful beggar, or those with the abode of tre-ma-bu-ga or tre-la-ta-ka, this is just an example. The commentary says, "Ants and other tiny creatures are also included." In my opinion, in the distinction, the latter two seem to refer to the abode of demons or the abode of ants. For those with disputes, the distinction says that stupas, the land of householders, and the summer retreat houses of nuns are also included, but the abode of gods does not appear. For what is not allowed to be started, the distinction says, relying on the road. When connecting with rivers, etc., it is sufficient to connect with any one of the three, whether in the middle or on the edge, and it is not necessary to be surrounded by rivers, etc. in the surrounding area, as the commentary says. The size is eighteen cubits in length.

, the length is eleven and a half cubits. Pray for purification. Regarding the five opposite situations that should not be hindered, where should the offering be made? It should be in a place that possesses the five types of precepts and is able to be restored, exists naturally, has not been moved from its location, whose views and behaviors have not turned to other aspects, whose names are the same, and where the Sangha is not fully assembled. One should pray three times, carefully examine the land, and the ten situations where previous permissions are unrelated to the offering. By which Sangha should the offering be made? It is the three situations such as having the complete number of four monks. The basis on which the offering is made is purity. How many kinds of rituals are there for making offerings? There are three, among which, the preparation aspect, the personal preparation is: completed during the assembly, prostrating in the direction of the elders, relying on behavior and praying three times. The Sangha's preparation is that oneself or the appointed person examines and states to the Sangha. The main part is two prayers. The ending is the conclusion of the ending. The causes for the destruction of permission are: the basis being transferred to an impure place, or becoming non-field, etc. Regarding repairing old things, old things are examples, both new and old should be repaired, and there is no transgression in cleaning. It should be examined whether the so-called repair is cleaning. Regarding the remainder of the monastery, after the common limbs have been stated, the special things that are said are for the benefit of the Sangha. The teacher specifically pointed out that it can be either a monastic or a householder. In the Vinaya-vibhaṅga, it says, "For the sake of the Sangha" refers to the Sangha of the Buddha's Śrāvakas. What is said refers to the scope of the four continents, it is merely an example, there is no fault. This is from the commentary. In the Vinaya-vibhaṅga, it says that a house and a monastery refer to places that can accommodate the four behaviors, namely walking, standing, sitting, and lying down. Both are explained in the same way, and then in the latter, what is specially pointed out is: "Great" refers to the two great things to be offered, and the size. Therefore, here it refers to the things to be offered are great, not the size. Therefore, it is said that these two places cannot be distinguished from the perspective of location, but being considered great is said to be because of the things to be offered, which seems to be specifically for the benefit of the Sangha. In the request, it says, house
