Furthermore, stealing by trickery is of two kinds: taking by robbers and discarding. The former is undoubtedly stealing. The latter has already been explained in "decoration." Stealing filled things is: denying filled things is a combination. Thus it is said. Stealing returned things is: contempt and giving in advance. Stealing by forceful oppression is: because it is taken by oppressing with power, there is doubt that it is not stealing. Stealing by forceful pulling is also just not giving, and there is doubt that it is not stealing. In order to eliminate these two situations, this sutra was made. There are three things said by the subduer: from the perspective of eliminating doubts, the definition of the owner and the intention to steal, and the explanation of exclusion. That is, "taking," and so on. The ultimate definition is: completely surrounding. There are two exclusions of many limbs: not falling is: that is oneself. Slightly blaming in the exclusion is: coarse is. The so-called complete holding, that is, including the complete holding of the cemetery, is of two kinds: holding it as one's own, saying "this cemetery is all mine," whatever is held as one's own, if stolen, it will become a defeat. In addition, if the killer, executioner, etc., obtain and hold it as their own, if it is stolen, it will become a coarse offense. Like this, although the items in the cemetery have no owner, because of hunger, etc., thinking "this is what I obtained," and thus generating the idea of holding it as one's own, if a monk takes it with the intention to steal, then it will become a coarse offense. This is what is said in the commentary. In that place, the one who is complete says: In this way, it should also be judged as a defeat from the latter, because it is similar to gambling. This is how it is explained. To this, some people say: Similar to borrowing like gambling, it must be determined and measured, while the items in the cemetery should be given when poor, not dominated, so they are not the same. Others say: If this is the case, then in the subduing, it is meaningless to repeatedly show the faults of the items in the cemetery. In the distinction, "held by men, women, and hermaphrodites" is a limb, and it is a coarse offense for ownerless property. This is shown from the opposite side of the exclusion. Therefore, just like food, it is reasonable to exclude items that are not reduced. Although it is said so, the commentary

The rule of Ikka (ིཀྐའི་) is reasonable. There is a difference between what is called "ownerless treasure," which means that the owner is completely gone, or although one possesses it in meaning, one has not accepted it. But here there is a further expression than that. A monk's share is taken by another monk, and even if it is uncertain, if it is taken for one's own benefit, then it is not without basis. Similarly, if another person's share is taken by another monk, even if others take the same share, there is no fault. If a monk says to a monk, "Because some monks have not accepted their share, you enjoy his share," and if there is no entrustment, then the unentrusted monk represents the unentitled share of the monk who is about to become the owner, then for the monk who is about to become the owner, it is not without basis, because he himself has not taken it, nor has he entrusted it to others. Some say that without being entrusted, if a monk takes something for the benefit of others with the idea of possessing something unauthorized, then for him, it is not without basis. For that point, the scriptures are also obvious. An uninvited guest, whether the benefactor knows or does not know, and whether the food and good offerings are abundant, are only minor offenses, and will not become defeat or gross offenses, because that is not a noble act, nor is it ungiving, nor is there a thieving mind. Not destroying nests is: in a monk's residence, if there are no eggs, it can be destroyed. In other places, that is not destroyed either. Touching the vital point is: harming through servants and cunning means, that should not be done to anyone. Taking what is not given also exists here, that is, indulging by touching the vital point, and if giving is allowed, it will become stealing. Regarding the four defeats of killing, there are three trainings in the statement of distinction, and related to the Dharma teaching is: the patient is a metaphor, and for the non-patient and both, one should not promote any action that would generate the thought of death. This is merely a faultless offense of the thought, "If only this person would die," otherwise, at that time it is a gross offense. Related to arranging attendants is: for a foolish person who does not understand attending to the sick, you should let the enemy be in the position of this dying person, and if you yourself want to die, do not abandon him. Friend.
