If, as before, positions are not appointed, etc., seek the lama of the hermitage, and if you do not find one, abandon relying on the hermitage and keep the summer vows. At that time, the others should ask the eldest of them to do things, and go elsewhere for debate. When the lama of the hermitage moves, enjoys, etc., if there is no other suitable person for the hermitage, ask the eldest to do things. If someone comes suddenly, a dwelling should be arranged on the second or third day, and a dwelling should not be arranged for one night, and if one does not live near the dwelling, ask others to do things. The seventh is a special case: the time of wandering when one is five years old and has the last five-year period; the time of the last two months of the early summer and the first two months of the later summer; the time of dwelling in another place; the time of engaging in seeking a dwelling but not finding one; the time of resting for a sudden arrival; the time of going to another place for one night; the time of being expelled from the dwelling; the time of being forbidden to dwell; and the ability to replace those times, which are nine. Second, how to practice after determining: how the dweller practices and how the hermitage practices. The first includes two ways: relying on thought and relying on action. The first is to generate the perception of a father in the lama of the hermitage, to have shame, and for the cautious, to have the shame of being timid, and because of that shame, not to engage in improper actions, to have respect, to have sovereignty, and to lower one's mind by destroying pride and arrogance. The second is to rely on action, including asking about illness and asking to do things, and how to practice after asking. The first includes its preliminaries, and asking about illness and asking to do things. The first is: as soon as you get up in the morning, rinse your mouth thoroughly with two or three mouthfuls of water. Do not use rough toothbrushes and tongue scrapers in front of the Buddhas and lamas, etc., so as not to damage the teeth and tongue, and clean them slowly. The ears should also be cleaned in the same way. The dirt stained with toothbrushes and tongue scrapers should be washed with water or earth, and then make sounds like conch shells, etc., and discard them in a secluded place. In front of the lama and the Buddhas, and in the places where the monastery is cleaned, the places for urination and defecation, and the trees where most people always live.
