In the branch of the earth, it is only briefly mentioned, but the detailed explanation comes from the original ritual procedures, etc. Furthermore, if the age is unknown, one should cleverly examine whether hair has grown near the mustache, etc. Those who wish to receive full ordination should not be allowed to climb trees, etc., nor should they be allowed to go outside the boundary. Those who have just received full ordination must recite the places of residence, etc. After properly understanding these, one should perform the going forth and the full ordination. In this way, if one violates any of those rituals, one will commit an offense due to not performing the ritual properly. Secondly, regarding how to protect after receiving the vows, there are six aspects: the manner of relying on a dwelling, how to treat places that should be revered and those that should not, how to handle one's own affairs, how the sick and those caring for them should act, the conduct of long-term residents and newcomers, and the manner of protecting the dwelling and attendants. First, there is the actual manner of relying on a dwelling, and two aspects of training that are in accordance with it. First, there are two aspects: establishing a dwelling and how to practice after establishing it. First, there are seven aspects: the place where one dwells, the basis on which one dwells, the ritual of how to dwell, the manner of addressing the name after becoming a lama, the causes of the destruction of the established dwelling, how to act when relying on a dwelling and instructing other affairs, and the special circumstances of relying on a dwelling. The first is to possess the thirteen qualities mentioned in the chapter on the preceptor. The second is to respect the lama, possess the five classes of vows that can be restored, strive for virtue, be diligent in the lama's activities, possess gentleness, and possess patience, etc., which are six aspects. If one is a monk, then one has not completed ten years since receiving full ordination, or even if one has completed ten years, one does not possess any of the five classes. Third, the ritual has three aspects. The preparation is to examine the qualities of the lama by observing the questions of others and one's own behavior, etc., and then make a request in words. He also examines the qualities of the dwelling and then makes a distinction, holding the soles of the feet of the dwelling with both hands. The main part is: "Venerable ones, please listen. I, named so-and-so, request the venerable ones to establish me as a dependent. Venerable ones, please grant me the establishment as a dependent. I rely on the venerable ones and dwell." Say this three times.

Do not say. As an answer to "Is it the end method?", say "Okay". If there is no one with higher monastic seniority than oneself in that place, then a young, stable, and intelligent person should be settled, and there is no need to prostrate to him. If residing with the Khenpo, then there is no need to settle through rituals. If the Khenpo and other abbots of the monastery gather, one should reside only with the Khenpo. If multiple abbots of the monastery other than the Khenpo gather, then one should reside wherever one wishes. Fourth, the order of mentioning names is: one who is not a Khenpo or Acharya should not be called Khenpo or Acharya. Without adding "Khenpo and Acharya", do not mention the names of Khenpo and Acharya. In particular, when mentioning names for a certain purpose, without adding "mentioning names", do not mention the name of the Khenpo. For those with high monastic seniority, do not mention their names without honorifics such as "Elder" and "Long-lived". Fifth, the causes of destruction are two: supplication and action. The first is the five causes of losing faith, etc., as well as being expelled, leaving, going to non-Buddhist aspects, abandoning residence upon seeing the Khenpo, the occurrence of not relying on either, death, becoming a non-bhikshu, and changing names. The second is, on top of the previous ones, adding becoming a different boundary. The difference between these two causes of destruction is that the cause of destruction by supplication also destroys the ritual of residence, while the cause of destruction by action only destroys the fault of preventing non-residence. Sixth, how should one advise on residence and other actions? In which place there is Uposatha but no abbot of the monastery, that place cannot be appointed as a person to perform karma. One should seek the abbot of the monastery from other places by means of providing residence and offering to the Sangha, etc. If one cannot find it, then one should abandon the Uposatha and go to a place where there is an abbot of the monastery. Similarly, when promising the early rains retreat, guarding the first month after accepting, guarding more than the first month of the late rains retreat, and advising on the absence of the abbot of the monastery, one should also seek the abbot of the monastery, and if one cannot find it, then one should go elsewhere. Guarding the last two months of the early rains retreat, promising the late rains retreat, guarding the last two months after accepting, and advising on the absence of the abbot of the monastery.
