Starting to conceal transgressions. Ultimately, the night passes. Concealing transgressions other than pārājika and saṃghāvaśeṣa incurs a misdeed. Fourth, the transgression of causing someone to abstain from food, of the four, the foundational branch is that the patron is a householder endowed with five qualities, giving to that place from the depths of their heart. The place of abstaining from food is a monk endowed with six qualities, not a sick person for whom abstaining from food is beneficial. The food is lawful and of sufficient quantity, food suitable for the time, which the patron has dedicated to that place. The thought is an undistorted perception, the motivation is the desire to cut off. The action is speech with five characteristics, actually speaking the words of abstaining from food. The ultimate is understanding the meaning. Sixth, the transgression of touching fire, of the four, the foundational branch is that the fire touched is fire known in the world, reaching a certain extent, other than embers and flames not connected to firewood. The basis is the power of the blessing at the time of offering to the teacher, etc., and not being sick. The thought is an undistorted perception, the motivation is the desire to touch. The action is oneself or someone sent by oneself, starting to touch by lighting, extinguishing, putting in firewood, etc. The ultimate is touching. Touching embers and flames not connected to firewood, and putting saliva, sesame seeds, grains, butter, etc., into the fire, and for the sake of the activities of the khenpo, etc., for the sake of other teachers, etc., after blessing at the time, touching the fire, etc., incurs a misdeed. For the sake of offering to the Three Jewels, etc., when it is necessary to touch the fire, if one thinks that one is touching it for this purpose, without blessing at the time, then both the transgression of touching the fire and the fault of not blessing at the time will occur. Touching a lion, etc., when blessing at the time, not blessing until the time when the activity will be accomplished, incurs a misdeed of violating the training. Seventh, the transgression of reversing the intention, of the four, the foundational branch is that the place of reversing the intention is attachment to the activity done for the sake of the monk, after doing it lawfully. The place to be understood is the monk endowed with six qualities, belonging to that activity. The object of reversal is one's own offered intention. The thought is an undistorted perception.

I want to speak some words that transform intention. To write in such a way with speech that possesses five characteristics. The ultimate purpose is to understand the meaning. Eighth, regarding the downfall of sleeping during the remaining part of the night, there are four cases, of which the basis is that the object is one who is not fully ordained or similar, possessing five names. The body is in an ordinary state, approachable, and not possessing miraculous powers. The place is established as the nature of a place, capable of accommodating four activities, is a single place, within one fathom. The support is not under the control of a patient or caretaker, and during the two months of the late summer, it is not a place where an evil monk resides. The thought is without mistaken cognition, intending to fall asleep through the activity of sleeping. The action is sleeping continuously day and night, and beginning to fall asleep. The final point is when the third night has passed. Although the essence of the place is different, both are mostly covered and surrounded, thus establishing the characteristic of a place, and being connected to the face of the door, and being separated by one and a half cubits and nine fingers. In the above three cases, if it is directly facing, it is established as a nearby place, and the door is not blocked from one's own side; if it is above and below, it is separated by two floors, and the stairs are not retracted to one's own side, if both are satisfied, it is considered a single place. If either or both do not establish the characteristic of a place, such as sleeping under a tree, and sleeping outside one fathom of a single place, within one and a half cubits and nine fingers, and sleeping together during the day, and even if three nights have passed, the activities of both the object and the support are inconsistent and falling asleep, these are misdeeds. When an evil monk resides, a monk with a novice retinue accepts the earlier summer retreat, and after accepting it, protects the previous month, and when there is an evil monk, newly placing a novice, and sleeping with light such as a lamp, except for the sun and moon, without possessing the necessary conditions, these are misdeeds to be learned. Sitting without sleeping in the presence of light will become a minor misdeed. Second, regarding the perverse establishment of pure views, there are two types: oneself adhering to wrong views and causing others to adhere to them. The first of these is the downfall of not abandoning wrong views, of which there are four cases. The basis is that the object being spoken of is: the Blessed One's
