The support for making "ra" is a Bhikshu who possesses the six qualities, Who dwells naturally in the ground, dwells within the boundary, and has not abandoned the place of eating. The one who makes the offering is one who possesses the Bhikshu vows that can be restored, whose mind dwells naturally, whose body dwells normally, who has not been expelled from the place, who is not sick, and who has abandoned food. The food to be offered is food that is lawful and possesses the proper amount of time, that is one's own, that has been given and received, and that is unrelated to previous offerings. The place is within the boundary, and the direction where giving and receiving can be obtained. The time is morning and the time of abandonment, and not a time of famine. The ritual is to wash the hands, give and receive, and holding it in the hand, standing in conduct, to recite the mantra of supplication to the support once, and if the support does not abandon the food, to eat two or three mouthfuls, and then say, "You have become yours." If one eats what has been offered and not abandoned, with certainty or doubt, one commits a misdeed, and if one abandons what is to be eaten and eats what should be eaten, one commits a downfall. There is no downfall in abandoning what should be eaten and eating what can be eaten. The fault of what should be learned is to offer food mixed with what is not proper, and to offer after abandoning completely, and to offer without being offered by the place, and to eat more than just enough to sustain life, and the support is not sick, has not eaten enough, the amount that is visible in the throat when swallowed Is complete with the remainder, and in that place, having given and received for the sake of eating, sits down, and those who rise up without completing the act of eating. Secondly, there are four downfalls for forcefully eating what has been abandoned, of which the limb of the basis, the place where one forcefully eats is upon a Bhikshu who possesses the six qualities, who has completely abandoned food. The food and time are as before. The intention is that the consciousness is not confused, the motivation is to forcefully eat, the action is to strive to forcefully eat, and the ultimate is to understand as forcefully eating. Secondly, there are four downfalls for eating in a place that is not a place, gathering and eating, of which the limb of the basis, the place where one eats is the Sangha of the place where one gathers and eats, whose boundary of nature is the same, and whether long-term or sudden, the place of prohibition is not the same. What is eaten is food that is lawful and possesses the amount of one food, at a time that is lawful.
