When things and perceptions match, and knowingly saying that a transgression has occurred when it has not, or vice versa, both situations where things and perceptions do not match become causes for transgression. Even if there was no intention to change perception initially, if the intention to change perception arises anew when speaking, it becomes the basis. During the Sojong (Uposatha), if asked, "Are you completely pure in this?" and knowing one is not pure or being doubtful, one remains silent and passes, it becomes a misdeed. Renouncing vows is a misdeed of what should be learned. Secondly, the transgression of speaking from faults has four parts. As for the branch of the basis, the object of speaking from whose faults is a Bhikshu endowed with six qualities. The object to be understood is what is known as a fault in that place and time, and is not permissible. In terms of thought, the perception is not mistaken, and the motivation is solely the intention to point out faults, and the desire to speak is uninterrupted. The action is to begin speaking with gentle or harsh words, using speech that possesses five characteristics. Ultimately, even if it does not become unpleasant, it becomes a transgression when the object understands the meaning. If one speaks after changing perception, it becomes a transgression of lying. For those of royal lineage, speaking with the intention to point out faults that are known as faults in that place and time, as well as speaking nonsense and harsh words, are misdeeds. Thirdly, the transgression of creating discord has four parts. As for the branch of the basis, the object to be divided is two Bhikshus, both endowed with six qualities, who have not yet been divided. In terms of thought, the perception is not mistaken, and the motivation is the desire to create discord, and it is uninterrupted. The action is to begin dividing by naming names, using speech that possesses five characteristics. Ultimately, understanding the meaning, even if not divided, becomes a transgression. Not naming names, and creating discord among those other than Bhikshus, etc., lacking the complete branches, are all misdeeds. Fourthly, the transgression of instigating quarrels has four parts. As for the branch of the basis, the dispute over which quarrels are instigated is any of the four disputes between two or more Bhikshus who possess the characteristics. The Sangha, possessing the characteristics, has pacified the dispute in accordance with the Dharma. The object to be understood is what pertains to pacifying the dispute upon Bhikshus who possess six qualities. The basis is knowing the cause of the dispute and up to the presentation of the desire.

It belongs to pacifying disputes. Regarding thought, cognition refers to being certain there or hesitatingly cognizing when pacifying disputes in the Dharma aspect. That is, when wanting to reproach general disputes, it is difficult to distinguish between true and false, and when wanting to reproach details, the cognition is not mistaken, and the intention to reproach is continuous from the bottom of one's heart. The action is to begin reproach with language possessing five characteristics. Ultimately, understanding the meaning through that cause. Reproaching without familiarity and without knowing And dwelling on the results of actions such as learning behavior, but reproaching that one is not attached to its cause, etc., for incomplete limbs, it is a slight fault. Fifth, the downfall of slandering in the name of a friend, in the four root limbs, the object with which one slanders is the gain that possesses the characteristics of the Sangha other than food. Most of it is permissible and meets the standards, and it is not wrongly given to that place. The object of slander is a Bhikshu who possesses the six Dharmas, and compared to oneself and the dedication, the property is different, and he is not a wrong dedicator. The place of dedication is endowed with five names, the body is in an ordinary state, the property is different from oneself, and is not a Bhikshuni. The object to be informed is endowed with five names, the body is in an ordinary state, and the continuum is different from oneself. The basis is that act of giving clothes, and it is consistent until the intention is expressed. The thought is that cognition is not mistaken, and the motivation to slander is continuous. The action can be done even if the name is not mentioned, and the slander is started with language possessing five characteristics, and the meaning is finally understood. When appointing bed allocators, etc., if they are not appointed through karma, it is a minor offense against the precepts. Second, disrespect for the Dharma, in the two, disrespect for the Dharma of teachings, in the three, the first is the downfall of expounding to a lay woman, in the four root limbs, the object of expounding is endowed with the ability to express the meaning of female characteristics, the body is in an ordinary state, can be relied upon, is not a hermaphrodite or bisexual, but has four names other than that, is not a magician, is a lay person, is not a relative, has not changed identity, and is not of intelligent nature. The basis is a person.
