The Bhikshuni's precepts are pure, the views are the same, the names are different, the body can be relied upon, possessing three names, the body is in a normal state, not a relative and not possessing supernatural powers. The objects to be washed are the three Dharma robes and cushions, any of which is acceptable, being qualified and possessing the blessings of reality, suitable for washing because they are stained with old or unclean things, etc., not having been prepared for washing before, not having been discriminated, not belonging to the Sangha, and being independent. In thought, one considers that the Bhikshuni is not a relative, or does not consider her a relative, or hesitates. The motivation is to continuously want to do washing, etc., for oneself. The action is speech with five characteristics, beginning to speak words that allow washing, dyeing, or beating, whichever it may be. Ultimately, due to that reason, washing, etc., has been done in one direction or more. The way to generate a downfall is: if one action causes all of washing, dyeing, and beating to be done, it is still only one downfall. Among those, if the basic limbs are incomplete, causing washing by a Bhikshuni who is not a relative, or is not considered a relative, or hesitates, as well as mule hair, the clothes of a householder, a pillow with filling inside, having discriminated against clothes that have incurred a Nissaggiya Pacittiya, causing the Sangha's clothes to be washed, etc., and if the limbs of the action are incomplete, causing washing, etc., by sending someone, are all offenses. Secondly, the offenses to be learned are: not guarding the Sangha's rules that do not contradict the Buddha's words, and not immediately asking about the rules after suddenly arriving and resting, etc., and violating those, and offering extra Dharma robes, etc., and not accepting them for the benefit of the Sangha, are all offenses. Sixth, in the relinquishment of a cubit, from four aspects, the basic object is a cushion, which is suitable and has dimensions, is one's own, is new and has not been used in season, and the old one has not been patched with a cubit of the Sugata. The basis is an old cushion, with joining and sewing, etc., having the length of a cubit of the Sugata, or not having it through arbitrary abandonment, either is acceptable. In thought, there is no confusion, and the motivation is to want to use an old cushion that has not been patched with a cubit. Act

The root is the body consuming food. The ultimate is enjoyment, and before it becomes old, each enjoyment becomes a downfall. Secondly, arising from seeking what is not there, there are two types: arising from the situation of a householder and arising from the situation of a renunciant. The first is based on the method of making clothes and based on time. The first, among the seven, is the prohibition of begging for clothes, of which four are the fundamental branches. The object to be begged from is a householder who does not have the vows of a renunciant, possesses five designations, whose body is in a normal state, whose wealth is different from oneself, who is not a relative, and who does not offer directly without being asked, possessing these six qualities. The object to be begged for is suitable clothing, long enough to be one cubit. It belongs to the donor himself. The basis for begging is not having a hard cushion spread out, and the clothing being begged for is on oneself, and the donor does not know that it is offered for oneself. The thought is without mistaken cognition, and the motivation is a continuous desire to beg. The action is to begin begging with speech possessing five characteristics. The ultimate is obtaining the value, color, and length of what was begged for. If the fundamental branch is incomplete, there is no downfall in begging for coarse cloth and borders. Begging for thread and wool is a transgression. Secondly, the prohibition of reasonable begging, of which four are the fundamental branches. The object to be begged from is a householder possessing six qualities. The object to be begged for is clothing, which is suitable, belongs to the householder himself, and exceeds one cubit beyond one pair of clothes. The basis is not having a hard cushion spread out, and lacking more than three of the necessities of life for oneself. The thought is without mistaken cognition, and the motivation is to want to beg for more than one pair of clothes for oneself, or even if not begging, not wanting to give the remaining part. The action is to begin begging from one donor with speech possessing five characteristics, or to begin not giving the remaining part. The ultimate is obtaining the remaining part, or deciding not to give it. The way in which begging for more leads to a downfall is: from the beginning, begging from one donor for more than one cubit beyond one pair of clothes. Because the medium size of householder's clothing is not specified, the upper garment is from five and a half cubits and three and a half cubits to before reaching the maximum size, and the lower garment covers three rounds.
