For those that are not repaired, sewing and other methods should be used. For earthen bowls, repair with clay and the like. Second, the method of burning: If the bowl is regularly used for food, iron bowls should be burned after six months, while earthen ones should be burned after half a month. When burning the bowl and at the end of summer, after eating each day, it should be smeared with oil and the like and left. The next day, before using it for food, it should be roughly scrubbed with dry cow dung and the like. Before burning, to avoid harming living beings, the surrounding area should be cleaned. Detailed methods of repairing and burning are not elaborated here. Second, regarding the handling of clothes, robes and other Dharma garments should be cared for like one's own skin, and treatments such as washing, turning inside out, and sewing should be done properly. Fourth, regarding the affairs of the sick and those who care for them, including how to care for the sick, methods of medical treatment and rituals, and the affairs of the sick, there are three aspects. The first aspect is: cohabitants, attendants, Khenpos, Acharyas, those with the same Khenpo, those with the same Acharya, those who converse, saying "please come," petitioners, and companions, should care for ordained individuals, even those who merely have the marks of Buddhists. These should be cared for by the former first, and if there are no former, then by the latter. If there are many who need care, the sick of the monastery should be cared for. If there are many sick in the monastery, then the one who resides and provides service should be cared for. If the abbot of the monastery has a minor illness, and there are other patients in critical condition, then the latter should be cared for. If none of the caregivers mentioned above are present, the Sangha should decide how many people are needed to care for the sick. The caregiver should take good care of the patient, and should not violate the patient's reasonable and Dharma-compliant requests. If the patient is particularly attached to something, it should be informed, and guidance should be given to the patient. If the patient is in danger of death, methods such as massage and bathing should be used to move them from the Sangha's bedding to a personal place. Check whether signs of death have appeared on their body. After the patient dies, their clothes should be washed. Second, medical treatment and rituals

The method of treatment is, if you don't have medicine yourself, you can use the Sangha's medicine. If the Sangha doesn't have it either, let the attendant go to find a benefactor. If it still can't be found, the Sangha will donate the cost of the medicine. If the Sangha doesn't have it, buy medicine with the decorations and clothes of Buddha statues and stupas to save the patient. If there are no items for performing rituals, use the Sangha's items to make offerings to the Three Jewels, etc. If the Sangha doesn't have it, use the Buddha's items to perform rituals for the patient. Third, what should the patient do? Do not disobey the attendant's instructions, and when the illness is cured, if you are wealthy, you must repay the items taken from the Three Jewels' property. Fifth, regarding the behavior of old residents and newcomers, there are two types. First, the behavior of old residents: if some lay or ordained people come to this place, first say "Welcome", with a smile, no anger, and a slight smile. If they are lay people, talk about Dharma. If villagers see lay people coming to this place, they should do their best to provide food and drink. Monks should provide water and seats for those who come here. Second, the behavior of newcomers is to clean the residence, etc., set up beds and seats in the Sangha's rooms, place water, distribute fruits, etc., and distribute food, etc. Sixth, regarding the method of serving attendants and guarding the residence, there are two types. First, the method of serving attendants: if some attendants, such as gods and people, are doing different things such as sculpting statues of gods, if they do not hinder the Bhikkhu himself and people from other places, remain neutral. If they hinder, cut off evil deeds and give advice in accordance with the Dharma. At this time, if the attendants are unhappy or leave, retain them by giving alms, etc. If you cannot cut off evil deeds, move to another place yourself. Do not quarrel with the attendants because of these reasons. Second, the method of guarding the residence is, if thieves, etc. are doing evil in the Sangha's monastery, in order to arrest them, attendants can be dispatched. If they do not go, do not tell anyone casually, but contact the prince, etc.
