It is like that. "What is said by the preceding and succeeding words of each phrase shows that for all questions, answers endowed with four qualities should be given. That is, not contradicting the preceding and succeeding, not contradicting the nature of phenomena, not contradicting the beings to be tamed, and being related to the supreme meaning." Yönten Öd said this. Here, the scripture says, "Or it is also shown by skillful means." This is through eight words, like teaching the Dharma to those sinful people who previously violated the precepts, causing them to turn away from sinful actions, so also for the miserly and others, it is shown in that way in order to connect them with generosity and the like. Or, to subdue with skillful means and not become mute, but to proclaim the Dharma, that is skillful means. Teaching the method of obtaining and protecting wealth in this life with truth and small effort, and causing those who hate the Dharma to generate faith and enter the Dharma, entering the Dharma enables one to abandon the afflictions to be abandoned by the path of seeing, and because the view is completely pure, one is liberated from the lower realms, therefore proclaiming the true and supreme Dharma, and teaching the method of abandoning the remaining all-bonds upon attaining the path of seeing. Doing things that benefit is: when seeing them, respectfully saying, "You have come, you have come well," and happily welcoming them with seats and places, bestowing benefits with gain and respect, this is the same as or more than that, and not bestowing with small benefits. For his affairs, even if not entrusted, one helps, what need to mention if entrusted? Similarly, for the remaining things between being frightened by miracles and wanting to do things, one will also do them. Protecting from the danger of fear is: lions and tigers and other animals dwelling on the plains, and creatures that truly exist in the waters or dwell there, such as crocodiles, whales, and other animals dwelling in the water, and kings who possess the power of punishment and coercion, and thieves who rob wealth with force and deception, and those who attack or are hostile in order to obstruct wealth and the like, and the fear of lords and masters who have power within a divided and limited scope, that is, the four fears of humans, and not possessing the three cherished things, namely utensils, and good conduct, and the fear of not having a livelihood due to not possessing the ability to speak, and the fear of being unpleasant, and the fear of being ashamed in the retinue, and the two non-humans, from the beginning

The distinction of taking birth as a non-human and the distinction established by reasoning, such as becoming a zombie by chanting mantras, is to protect from those fears. To dispel the sorrow afflicted by grief is twofold: the sorrow of separation from relatives and friends, and the sorrow of separation from possessions. The first has five: the separation from relatives who have become the cause of birth is the death of parents. The separation from relatives who are completely embraced and are the fruit is the death of children and wives. The separation from relatives who listen to words is the death of male and female servants, employees, and those who live on leftovers. The separation from relatives who benefit and are loving is the death of friends, advisors, other relatives, and elders. The separation from relatives who show benefit is the sorrow of the death of preceptors, teachers, and lamas, who practice the same pure conduct. Separation from possessions is twofold: it is the cause of all suffering in the world, and it is uncommon to some. The first, which is common to all, is being robbed by kings and thieves, being burned by fire, and being carried away by water. The uncommon has two: one's own improper conduct and what arises from others. The first has two: guarding possessions improperly is wasting them by burying them as treasure but not doing it well. Accomplishing possessions improperly is becoming unsatisfactory because one has not diligently done the work of accomplishment well. What arises from others also has two: suffering from the right to enjoy the share is being taken away by those who do not get along with the share. Some explanations of this say that it seems to be like being taken away by unfriendly relatives. Suffering from those who come from one's own home is the appearance of a destroyer of the household in the home. Some explanations of this explain it as only giving birth to someone who ruins the lineage, and scattering wealth because he does not know how to use it. Thus, the small, medium, and large sorrows that arise from the basis of relatives and possessions are dispelled by showing impermanence. Among them, what arises from the death of the mother and so on is great, what arises from the death of servants and so on is medium, and what arises from the separation of possessions is small, or it should be understood from what is needed and cherished, so it is explained. Acting in the meaning of being impoverished by equipment has six:
