The teacher who should be regarded as inseparable from the guru's mind is one's own samaya teacher. This is not ordinary giving, but one must please the guru by offering sons, wives, and one's own life, which are difficult to give. Then, what need is there to say about pleasing the guru with external enjoyments, that is, fluctuating, impermanent, and trivial things? As it says in the first section of the second chapter of the Samputa, "One's own wife, daughter, male servant, female servant, and sister, after prostrating, should be given as offerings. With all my possessions, the wise should offer to the guru. From this day forward, I am a servant, I offer myself to you." After making such a request. Third, then, why is it necessary to please the guru even by offering oneself as a servant? Because it says in the sutra, "Because hundreds of thousands of eons, even countless, are difficult to obtain, the Buddha himself also bestows upon the diligent, in this very life." The meaning is that because the Buddhahood, which is difficult for others to obtain even with countless hundreds of thousands of eons, can be bestowed in this Vajrayana in this very life, therefore one should please the guru in this way. To whom is it given? It is given to those excellent beings to be tamed who possess extremely blazing diligence and effort. Not becoming enlightened without diligence is the disciple's own fault. The word "also" means that not only are common accomplishments bestowed, but also the accomplishments of this life. Fourth, "Always guard your own samaya, always worship the Tathagatas, always offer to the guru as well, this is equal to all Buddhas. Because of the desire for that which is inexhaustible, whatever is slightly pleasing, whatever is extremely superior and transformed, that and that offer to the guru. Giving that to all the Buddhas, constantly giving is accomplished, that giving is a collection of merit, from the collection, the supreme among accomplishments arises." One's own deity's body, speech, and mind yoga is the samaya, and it should be constantly guarded. The meaning of "constantly" is inexhaustible virtue, and the meaning of guarding is to abide in the precepts and not waver, as Shantideva said. Constantly making offerings to the Tathagata assembly such as Vajrasattva

In order to accomplish this, one should make offerings, filling the sky with outer and inner offerings. Similarly, one should always offer gifts to the guru, because this is a field for accumulating merit, no different from all the Buddhas. Furthermore, the word "also" includes the offerings to the Tathagatas, which should also be offered. In short, as mentioned before, one should constantly make offerings with mandalas, all outer and inner offerings, and material gifts. In the fourth chapter of the Vajra Heart Ornament, it is also said: "The wise vajra disciple, if he desires all happiness, should offer with faith and devotion. If he does not offer what he has in mind, and if he does not offer what he has vowed, he will surely be born in the two realms of hungry ghosts and hell, and will be destroyed." It is said. The inexhaustible Suchness is the Dharmakaya, the state of inexhaustibility as long as space exists. The disciple who desires this should offer the guru whatever offerings he finds most pleasing, from the smallest to the most excellent. The guru should also accept them in order to dispel the disciple's attachment. In the first chapter of the second examination of the Samputa, it is said: "Whatever is a beautiful object, with a mind without desire, that and that should be offered to the guru. The guru also has compassion, in order to dispel the disciple's attachment, he takes it with the intention of benefiting him." It is said. The benefit of doing so is that constantly giving to that guru is the same as constantly giving to all the Buddhas, and one will perfect the accumulation of merit. From accumulating a great deal of merit, one will quickly attain the supreme accomplishment of Buddhahood, let alone other accomplishments. This means that the accomplishment of a practitioner does not arise from causelessness or unfavorable causes, so it depends on favorable causes, and that is the accumulation of a great deal of merit. Moreover, merit is easily perfected by relying on the guru, so the vajra master himself is shown to be the supreme field for accumulating merit. In the Order of Blessing the Self in the Five Stages, it is also said: "Having completely abandoned all offerings, make offerings to the guru, truly make them. By pleasing him, one will obtain the supreme wisdom of omniscience, the unsurpassed doer."
