The arrangement of lamp garlands made it difficult even to look at with the eyes. Like the lamp garlands depicted on the great earth, with their respective rays of light clearly mocking the multitude of stars crowded on the path of the gods. At midnight, the army of darkness was also completely disheartened, and ashamed, it遁入地下, disappearing from the sight of all. Therefore, the shadows of the young willow branches from Ramoche to Potala, like the daytime, also fell on the ground, so that it was impossible to distinguish between day and night. The multitude of stars, thinking that hundreds of suns had risen from the ground at once, hastily took the road of the sky at midnight and fled to the great ocean. Even at midnight, when looking up, the sky was covered with the light of lamps, and only a reddish color could be seen, and not even the shadow of a single star could be seen. In addition, hundreds of libations, newly arranged every day, were well changed in color every day with the juice of Kashmiri saffron, and the taste of saffron had to be measured every day. In addition, the good smell of burning incense banners, umbrellas, various incense burners, etc., also spread throughout the external environment day and night. The smoke was like weaving long clouds in the air. Even the outer circumambulation paths were wetted with incense water. Not to mention anything else. About an arrow's length of food, adorned with captivating decorations such as thrones of butter and jewels, one hundred and eight new offerings were offered every day. On the platforms to the left and right of the huge copper bowls, food offerings made from four hundred loads of tsampa, adorned with countless beautiful decorations, were displayed with fluttering banners. The old food was not possessed, but was given generously to the poor groups of beggars, so that the poor were also freed from the bondage of the concept of poverty.

After that, because the satisfaction of food and drink increased exceptionally, it was as if they no longer thought of eating again. Furthermore, they made grand offerings with limitless varieties of offerings and delightful arrangements such as the seven precious royal possessions. They were blessed by the venerable lama himself with mantras (སྔགས།,mantra,曼怛罗,咒语), mudras (ཕྱག་རྒྱ།,mudrā,穆扎,印契), and samadhi (ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན།,samādhi,三摩地,等持), and grand offerings were made with pure rituals arising from the sutras and tantras. Day after day, they acted with a strong intention solely for the sake of the teachings and sentient beings, and with pure aspirations for the flourishing of the teachings and the benefit and happiness of sentient beings. Moreover, every day they recited a chapter of the Jataka tales composed by the scholar hero to the assembly of monks. At that time, the needs of those who worshipped gods and those who did not were taken care of. The lamas and spiritual friends who had gathered from all directions, the various officials, the various patrons who had come to offer donations, the various craftsmen, and so on, all had their needs for food, clothing, and shelter taken care of. The uncle and nephew, the officials Namkha Zangpo, respectfully accomplished this with great faith and generosity. The great patron, Miwang Drakpa Gyaltsen, also took great care in overseeing the offerings. In addition, due to the numerous donations and hospitality from Drigung (འབྲི་ཁུང་,Drigung) and other places, during those sixteen days, the tea and meals, hot tea and cold tea, were continuously provided for about one hundred thousand monks. Considering that the gathering of monks for tea and meals would increase merit, it was certain that there would be more than a thousand monks who circumambulated without sitting down for tea and meals. Moreover, the gathering of ordinary black-haired people was extremely large, appearing to number in the tens of thousands. By the power of compassion, among all those who had gathered in such numbers, not a single person was seen engaging in harsh verbal disputes or quarrels. Nor did they indulge in reckless behavior such as singing, dancing, and drinking, as was the case during other circumambulations. Otherwise, everyone naturally became gentle, and because they were influenced by faith and the desire to do good, they listened to the Dharma, prostrated, circumambulated, prayed, and recited dharanis (གཟུངས།,dhāraṇī,陀罗尼,总持) day and night.
