For all beings, may the profound and vast Dharma wheel, which is the constant antidote to the two obscurations, be turned. Representing all the virtuous streams of the three times, may they be completely dedicated to the ocean of unsurpassed Bodhi, becoming one taste. With the three circles purified, may it be performed in the manner of playing in the display of illusion. Thus, first reciting the seven-branch prayer of praise. As the Victorious One declared with the Vajra words, in this land of the snowy white enclosure, relying on the compassion of the Dharma Kings and Panditas, may the Buddha's teachings flourish and develop. In particular, Jamyang's incarnation, the human lord Dharma King Trisong Detsen, invited the great teacher Padmasambhava and built the glorious Samye, the unchangeable and spontaneously accomplished monastery, placing all the king and subjects on the path of liberation. Just as the Buddha's teachings and the happiness of beings rival the glory of the good eon of fulfillment, now the substitute of Gyalwang Pema Karai, the holy one, has come to Samye (founded around 763 AD), and we have taken on the responsibility of patrons, offering the Tsog offering, praying for happiness and prosperity to arise in the world, and for all of us to have auspicious connections in the short and long term, reciting thousands of prayers, bestowing ripening empowerments, profound instructions for liberation, etc., being cared for with great compassion, as a symbol of the mandala, offering: long divine silk cloths, a large golden-lacquered Mahayana vajra bell, a Ting-shag with a silver thread handle, a large piece of yak wool fabric, five pieces of various colored silk brocades, gold-embroidered silk, animal skin, six pieces of various colored Zam silk, a blue silk treasury cloth, a sufficient amount of gold powder, two silver horse hooves, thirteen srangs of Khol tea, one five-sho piece of gold, sixty-five circles of good and medium tea, horses, two sets of musical instruments, musk, and Kashi cotton cloth, etc. May we obtain a leisure and fortune body in future lives, be cared for by the holy ones, have pure morality, enrich our minds with the fruits of hearing, thinking, and meditating, and become the glory of the teachings and beings. Thus it appears. This is not written out of greed for gain, respect, and esteem, but out of reverence for the Buddha's teachings and their upholders, it is the biography of the Dharma King. Tomorrow, I will go to Tashi Palra to pay my respects.
