In general, those who genuinely practice or uphold the Dharma are rarer than stars in the daytime, and those who ultimately persevere are even more disheartening. Some high-ranking individuals have discussed that it is better to have one mendicant who can uphold the lineage than a thousand disciples of great figures. This statement, when measured from the perspective of the Dharma, certainly seems to be a profound truth. The reason is that relying on relationships and transmissions, those inner ministers and attendants of the king, as well as lay practitioners residing near monasteries, and monks busy with commerce and farming, are not suitable as genuine disciples. It would be wonderful if an enlightened monk like a snow mountain lion, who has completely relinquished worldly affairs, could appear, but such individuals are too few. This year, Arrow Officer Yuthokpa Pawo Wangchuk himself, on his way to the hot springs, brought nearly fifty officials, resembling the four components of an army, and also came here. Generally speaking, it is difficult to gauge a person's capacity, but for a householder to generate such pure appearances towards the Three Jewels and the Guru is truly rare. I am not being insincere; you are the protector of qualities. Your supreme and precious chariot of Dharma, like the king of mountains, is unwavering. With increasing faith, I prostrate and pray. In Akanishta is Vajradhara, in Ngayab Pelri is Orgyen Rinpoche, in this degenerate age, you are the sun that illuminates the darkness of this direction, Jikme Lingpa, the Lord of Speech. Like the moon in water, you manifest a single essence in many wondrous transformations. You are the unceasing glory of the sun, opening the lotus faces of all goodness in the three realms. For a world intoxicated by the poison of great ignorance, you bear the courageous burden of severing the life force of Bodhi. You hold the lotus feet of the immaculate spiritual friend, the Lord of Speech, filled with streams of wisdom nectar. In the wind of the greatly degenerated degenerate age, when the lamp of the Buddha's teachings is about to be extinguished, you illuminate the three realms with the light of wisdom and compassion. Omnipresent protector, you manifestly appear. From the very beginning, you see all phenomena as they are, like a precious beryl. Without relying on diligent practice, the light of wisdom and compassion shines even more brightly. You are the vessel carrying the intellectual desires of various schools of thought, although the ocean of the Buddhas' teachings is vast, you are the king of wish-fulfilling power, possessing limitless intention. Two accumulations
