It is the branch of enlightenment. Please understand that this is the merit accumulated for the benefit of the deceased. During the eight days of the Great Miracle Month, starting with a one-day offering at the assembly of Śrī Parvata, the ritual of purifying hell was performed. Each monk received a large offering of cloth, three Trāms, and summer clothes and shoes received in the previous two years, all of which were carefully inspected and used for offerings. Four large wind chimes made from the year's newly harvested barley were also hung at the four corners of the monastery. Thinking, A bhikṣu from Mchims requested instructions, saying, "Alas! Woe! Guide of the three realms, essence of the three roots and all Buddhas, Victorious One worthy of remembrance, Lord of the world, Orgyen, Knower of the three times, I remember you! In the past, it was the perfect age of the Bhadrakalpa, people naturally possessed perfect glory, lands grew crops without cultivation, and the power of karma and afflictions was small. Even if one was fascinated by the gardens of celestial maidens, it was only a temporary possession of excellent qualities. Now is the end of the degenerate age, the essence of the earth has declined, and it is full of disease and war. The five poisons of affliction are used wantonly, and beings are short-lived, sick, and full of suffering. Bring! Carry! Forcibly drive the laborers, beat! Bind! Inflict torture. In a state of unwillingness, non-submission, and disharmony, life is exhausted like the sole of a shoe. Do you see this common karma that throws us into the lower realms? The remnants of good deeds accumulated in the past have allowed us to obtain a human body with leisure and opportunity in this life, and although we have entered the door of the sacred Dharma, for the sake of Dharma and offerings, for the sake of eating and clothing, we pursue like pigs and swine. Seeing oneself and friends similar to oneself, if one suddenly encounters the Lord of Death and demons, will one not feel frightened? If you also want to make this leisure and opportunity meaningful, do not participate in the attachment and aversion of many gatherings, even if you do not want to, you will involuntarily fall into the whirlwind of the five poisons, exhausting your mental strength. Now, with the parents, siblings, villagers, neighbors, sangha, and bustle of the gathering, it is always similar, but only for a moment.

May it be transformed! Like guests at a market dispersing without a trace, one's own death is like the extinguishing of a butter lamp's wick. Without associating with anyone, following karma, embarking on the journey of the long bardo. Please consider these weary and pitiful bodhisattvas, and make this precious leisure and endowment meaningful. I myself meditate in that very place, possessing a cave that shelters from rain and wind. From there, I observe the nature of impermanence, setting it as a clear and easy-to-understand example. You too, leave behind relatives, friends, and homeland, uncertain of when you will die. Thinking of these things in your heart, diligently accumulate merit, purify obscurations, and practice the generation and completion stages. I implore you not to be lazy. I also have a pleasant dwelling place, seeing the old Kadampa monasteries and dilapidated walls, where I recite and practice the Dharma. Seeing Nyal and the walls that collapse every year, where they drink and make merry. Seeing the empty houses in the Donkhar valley, those clever and resourceful people, where are they now, they are gone. This teaching of impermanence and illusion causes me to regard all appearances as dreams and mirages, living as a yogi with non-attachment. You too, whip yourselves with renunciation and aversion, constantly reminding yourselves in your hearts, carefully discerning cause and effect. Prepare to liberate yourselves from the endless ocean of samsara. Strive to recognize your own precious, wish-fulfilling mind, and surely attain Buddhahood in one lifetime. Among a hundred men, there will surely be one who is most courageous. Among a hundred heads, there will surely be one who can liberate himself. This leisure and endowment of human life must be meaningful. Thinking this from the depths of my heart, as a response to your exhortations. The author is Longchen Rabjam, the space yogi, inspired by the songs of Bīśva Ḍākinī, taking such verses from the treasury of the vajra throat. May all appearances be transformed into auspiciousness! In the spring of that year, gold was applied to the ten thousand images of Amitayus, and the consecration ceremony was held on the Buddha's birthday for the stupa of Bodhi Liberation Upon Seeing (Byang-chub mthong-grol ston-pa), which is the main object of the dharani.
