Five meals a day were offered to the Silver Stupa Rinpoche, and one butter lamp was kept burning day and night for as long as possible. The benefactor for the butter lamp offerings for one year was Chakpo Chödzé. The benefactor Püshü continued the tradition of paying the monthly salary to two people responsible for maintaining one offering lamp and one meal without interruption. During the cremation ceremony, meals were provided separately by the public and private sectors, including additional compensation for the service staff. Similarly, the construction and consecration of the Silver Stupa were carried out separately. Private estates mutually pledged to donate a total of 25 khals of grain and undertook the responsibility of providing assistance such as manpower for the completion of the deceased's aspirations. Gön Tsé Tulku Rinpoche donated 15 silver sangs for the great cause of fulfilling the deceased's aspirations. Five kinds of silk scarves and one butter lamp were offered to the Silver Stupa Rinpoche. Kongpo Götsang Rinpoche donated 10 silver sangs worth of silk scarves. A thousand offerings were also made in the Lhakhang of Buchu Tér. The monks of Tekchok Ling Monastery each donated 15 silver sangs and silk scarves. The monks of Palri Monastery extensively participated in the cremation ceremony and consecration, etc. Clouds of offerings and 30 khals of grain were offered to the Silver Stupa Rinpoche. Drigung Rinpoche, father and son, donated six sets of good quality tea bricks, two butter lamps, and various items. In Drigung itself, the monastery held seven Mani Bumpa Drubchen ceremonies for the monks, and extensive offerings were made to monasteries such as Tel and to all the main temples. Furthermore, representatives of Dokhar Nyartsang, both government and private, as well as various people of high and low status, donated offerings. Countless small ornaments were donated to the Silver Stupa, and although it would have been appropriate to write them down in order to rejoice in these merits, I was unable to do so due to the burden of writing. As in previous years, on the tenth day of the Monkey month (April or May) of the year, two thousand-offering ceremonies were again held inside and outside the Samye Migyur Lhüngyi Drubpai Tsuglagkhang. In the White Hall, approximately 215 khals of butter were prepared and burned for fifteen days. During this time of butter scarcity, the price of butter was approximately 140 silver sangs.
