When the completion was done, the appearances became clear and distinct. When limitless pure appearances arose in the wisdom, these words were spoken: I prostrate at the feet of the five Buddha families. In the virtuous practice with conceptual elaborations, a life fortress free from self-interest is established. In the pure vessel and essence of the generation stage, there is a key point of unattached self-arising. When a lifetime is condensed into practice, there is no desire for signs of accomplishment and clairvoyance. Freed from the crossroads of wealth, land, and retinue. This is my discernment of what to accept and reject from listening. In the completion stage, which is primordially free from elaborations, there is no meaning of emptiness or nothingness. In the union of wisdom and emptiness after equality, letting go and grasping naturally subside. In ordinary self-luminous wisdom, there is no admixture of mindless dullness. Freed from the crossroads of wealth, land, and retinue. This is my confidence in contemplation. In whatever arises as superior insight, wisdom and emptiness, the analysis and examination of knowledge are not lost. In the memory of natural inherent awareness, there is no need for a distracting Khenpo (teacher). In the absence of meditation and aim, there is no contamination of indifference and abandonment. Freed from the crossroads of wealth, land, and retinue. This is my confidence in meditation. There is no suffering of ordinary feelings. There is no attachment to contaminated virtue. The arising of wisdom is like being blocked. There is no reliance on the clarity of objects. Even if conceptual thoughts dissolve into the expanse, one is liberated from the prison of mindless darkness. Freed from the three wrong paths of the desire realm, form realm, and formless realm gods. The knowing of encounter is respectful and vast, and the dwelling free from elaborations becomes manifest. This is my delivery of the fruit. Having said this, I arrived at the cave below Geywo of Samye Chimpu (c. 775-815 CE), known as the practice cave of Nyangtingzin Zangpo. The entire top of the rock cave was covered with stalactites dripping water, and the inside swirled like an ocean, covered with sprouts of various green plants such as edible plants. In this place where the appearances of this life could be transformed into pus, I stayed alone. Because the rain was very heavy, there was no dry place inside or outside the cave, so in this secluded and empty place, I borrowed a white coarse cloth from a villager and made it into a garment that did not distinguish day and night. Especially because there were no friends or loving caretakers like the stars in the daytime, I felt lonely and distinguished between experience and realization. Only a lighthearted thought arose in my mind, that I was following in the footsteps of previous accomplished ones. After some time, I obtained some nutritious things such as tea bricks.

The food is close to achieving the rainbow body. In the past, I had never experienced suffering, only happiness. Establishing the victory banner of essential practice in the practice place of the great Orgyen (Padmasambhava) is greater than any merit. Even though I had to rely on food asceticism and essence intake, I developed a strong determination not to retreat from my practice vows. I blame sentient beings who have not gained anything, and speak unpleasant words to those who have gained something. How can those who are difficult to get along with by nature have joy? This is truly a true self-appearance. Living in a place without attachment, I proclaim everywhere that I live in a cave like this one. My companions also say that it is not appropriate, to which I respond with joy: Father Vajra Master Padmasambhava is one, son's pure entourage of disciples, lords and subjects is two, place Red Rock Glorious Chimphu is three. Have you heard the complete biography of these three? The solitary cave is a strong fortress of meditation, the entourage is the mouth of gathering, the root of attachment. My wandering in the mountains is not because I am homeless, but because I live in the footsteps of the supreme accomplished predecessors. The local deity considers me to be the great lord, one; the earthen castle built with smooth stones, two; the dwelling adorned with silk prayer flags, three. Even a beggar can accomplish these three. Thinking of the impermanence of life, I have occupied the cave. Think of impermanence and death, fellow practitioners! The mud-measured walls without gaps are one, the beautifully carved wooden pillars and beams are strong and hard, two; the colorful murals and tree sap are three. Even a beggar can accomplish these three. Thinking of the impermanence of life, I have occupied the cave. Think of impermanence and death, fellow practitioners! The decorations of the shrine are beautiful and glorious, one; the clean, polished copper bowls are bright and shining, two; the rags and thread for mending clothes are three. Even a beggar can accomplish these three. Thinking of the impermanence of life, I have occupied the cave. Think of impermanence and death, fellow practitioners! The recognition and association of the great chieftain is one, the protection, repulsion, killing, and suppression of the Däu group is two, the food-filled fabric
