Offering tea. Plate. Offering khatas. Everything is fine. We held a day-long banquet at our parents' house. Generously presented white cloths to all the workers and employees. Three bottles of wine. Offered khatas to everyone. Lobsang Sonam presented four high-quality, exquisite veils. Gonnga provided service for the whole day. Offering tea. Offered khatas to me and Ugyen. Offering khatas. Two exquisite veils. Thongshakpa made tea. Offering khatas. Younger brother Kunsang Phuntsok held a day-long banquet. Tobacco was offered after the banquet. A whole piece of exquisite fabric was presented. And abundant white cloths, etc. In this way, all the donations were recorded in detail to increase the merit of rejoicing. The construction of this statue cost a total of about four hundred and fifty silver taels. Generally, for the pure act of giving and for those who can endure hardship and effort, if it is like trying to sell one's strength after the work is done, it becomes a joke of not understanding cause and effect. In particular, Orgyen Dharma Raja said, "Boasting to others and generating desire." He said that these are four causes of depleting merit. Therefore, stop talking about the details, and next, it should be told how the consecration ceremony was performed. The definition of consecration is: For the object of commitment, through the profound ritual of samadhi, the wisdom beings of all the Buddhas are invited from the place of self-nature purity and made to reside therein, thereby establishing the basis for all auspicious activities. The meaning of the word is, in Sanskrit, (Sanskrit Devanagari: सुप्रतिष्ठ, Sanskrit Romanization: supratiṣṭha, Chinese literal meaning: well-established), meaning well and perfectly established. Or, from the perspective of synonymy, the word (Sanskrit Devanagari: प्रति, Sanskrit Romanization: prati, Chinese literal meaning: towards, for) can also be understood as well and individually established. Whether it is the object to be integrated or the wisdom being that integrates, the appearance of the meaning of the word is different, such as the two being inseparably well and perfectly established. The necessity is, although it is not possible to invite the unchanging wisdom self-nature from the Buddhas who are dwelling in the state of Dharmakaya free from elaboration and perform the consecration. However, it is merely to make faithful people worthy of offerings and to rely on it to accumulate vast merit.
