"The Armor Against Darkness, a Commentary on the Sutra," "The Eighty Manifestations," and two lamas. He also bestowed the authentic root transmissions. He gave the four empowerments of the Nyingthig with elaborations, etc. From the writings composed by Melongpa, he gave the instruction manual. He also gave instructions on the oral teachings of Dzogchen Aro. Similarly, he also gave the red instructions on Great Compassion, transmitted from Bodhisattva Yegyälwa. Because of this reason, Gölo Yesangtsepa developed a particular interest in the so-called Nyingma school of secret mantra, and was barely tainted by the obscuration of abandoning the Dharma. It is said that he attained the ultimate meaning of having reached the other shore of hearing, a definite conclusion. Thus, Dharma Lord Sangye Rinchen traveled to Ü (Lhasa) in the Iron Ox year, the seventy-second year (1421). At Samten Ling in Gungpo Ri (Gampopa's Mountain), he received the feet of Wang Drakpa Gyaltsen. He gave many empowerments such as the Düpa Do, and explanations of the Sangnying, etc., and many transmissions. He passed away in Tsang (Shigatse) in the Iron Pig year, the eighty-second year (1431). From the birth of Zur Chungpa until this time, four hundred and seventeen years have passed. Furthermore, in the lineage of disciples of the great Dro Phukpa, there was one named Khyonggyä Gyamanpa Sangye Drakpa. His clan was Nyäl Yul Gyaman Taktsé. In his youth, he practiced Zambhala, and as a result, even the small field he had was washed away by the water. When he went into retreat, he found the corpse of a wealthy man named Pugu Dor Phukpo Mjetsé Khyerwa, and there was no one to carry it away. He developed strong compassion, performed non-conceptual meditation, and took care of the corpse. As a result, a lot of gold appeared from beside the bed. This seemed to be the accomplishment given by Zambhala. He returned and met Khyunpo Chöwo at Drakchi Khangmar. He served as an attendant for authentic practice, and saw the face of the nine deities of the authentic lamp. Afterwards, he went to Tsang (Shigatse) and heard the Sutra and Manifestation, etc., from a disciple of the secret lord Dro Phukpa, the nephew of the great Garuda. There, he offered one hundred loads of barley to a wealthy man. Because the conditions were not obstructed, he also heard the Manifestation from Nyang Nak Dowo, a disciple of Dro Phukpa, and from his disciple Lhaje Da Sengge. He became a great scholar and established a stone-topped temple in his own homeland. Gya Ching Ruwa, a disciple of Nyälwa Shipo, also relied on the feet of the Stone-Topped One.

He extensively studied and learned. In particular, a learned and accomplished hero named Kyichö Kyi Senge arose here. He went before the Great Emperor Sechen. The emperor, in order to test his power, had him sealed inside a stupa, bricked up, and left for a year. When it was opened after a year, he had transformed into the form of Vajrakila, which was greatly astonishing. The emperor granted Dotokpa a large amount of silk and other goods, and also granted many monasteries and estates demarcated by imperial decree, making it extremely prosperous. Now, only the remnants of its name remain, and the rise and fall of the teachings are also of a nature that evokes sadness. The disciple of Kyichö Kyi Senge was Menlungpa Shakya Ö. He was the eldest of the five sons of Nyangtön Chenpo of Chongpo Keru, known as the "Five Brothers of Yarlung Tulku." Because his home Yarlung's monastery was Menlung, he was known by that name. The second was the abbot of Chödenpa, which is now the ruins of the monastery called Chöden. His real name was Gönpo Dorje, and because he had attained great accomplishment, the imprint of his back against the wall remains to this day. It seems that a large monastic college was once established here, as many volumes of the Vinaya can be seen. It is said that because he practiced medicine, sin and even ants and maggots were rare in this area. The guardian deity is very powerful, and it seems that even now it is protecting the monastery ruins, and the gods and spirits are very faithful to their vows. The next three are known as Kaldenpa, Durtropa, and Wanggyalwa. Among them, the first, Menlungpa Shakya Ö, learned the Sutra of Illusion well from Kyichö Kyi Senge. Later, he also listened to the son of Lan Shakya Öpo, Lan Khenpa Sögyal, and mastered the essential instructions of the Guhyagarbha Tantra, as well as the commentaries and tantric meanings, and composed many texts. His disciple was Dakpo Sangye Gonglawa. Initially, many disciples such as Nyal emerged, and he mainly became the lama of Gön Gyö Dakpo, and became very widespread in Kham. Also, Shakya Bumpa, the nephew of Menlungpa, expertly learned the explanation of the Guhyagarbha Tantra. The wise and accomplished father and son, Chöpal, also excelled in the explanation of the Guhyagarbha Tantra.
