Urged to compete, other teachers and practitioners like the Four Peaks (Rtsé mo bzhi) were also able to walk without their feet touching the ground. However, Zur chung pa rose to the sky about the height of a palm tree (Tāla) and was the first to break into the Otter Hermitage (Sram pa sgrub khang), so the other three peaks also gained certainty. Because he followed the lama's instructions, the service was also eventually completed. After a while, Zur chung pa received three stages of prophecies about the place, but because he was not a yogi attached to realizing emptiness, he was classified as an illusion. Eventually, five sixteen-year-old girls adorned with bone ornaments appeared, dancing with hand drums (ḍa ma ru), and said, "Brother, if you meditate on Nine-Gathered Mountain (ri bo dgu 'dus), you will accomplish both aims." They pointed to the Giant Rock (brag rgya bo). Nine-Gathered Mountain (ri bo dgu 'dus), Nine-Gathered Springs (chu mig dgu 'dus), Nine-Gathered Meadows (ne'u gsing dgu 'dus), were recognized as symbols of the completion of the nine successive vehicles. That Giant Rock (brag rgya bo) was like the Victorious One, the Great Glorious One (bcom ldan 'das dpal chen po), surrounded by the Eight Gauri Mothers (gཽ་རཱི་མ་བརྒྱད), so if one practices here, the path to accomplishment will be near and the blessings will be great. In general, the nature of samsara is suffering, so one must cut off worldly attachments. To accomplish the benefit of future lives, busyness and fame are of no help. Taking care of people's feelings is difficult to do immediately and ultimately meaningless, so I will practice alone, he said, and entrusted the sangha to three people who understood him, saying, "You must protect the teachings of teaching and learning." Then he went to the Giant Rock (brag rgya bo). After arriving there, he focused only on practice, and the appearances and miracles of the local deities became very powerful. Like this, the great hosts of accomplished ones experienced the same taste in the false state of dreams and appearances, so in a dream one night, a black man appeared on top of the Giant Rock (brag rgya bo), folded his legs and threw himself around his head, dreaming that he was thrown down onto a large plain at the end of Tag (thag). When he woke up, he was actually in the middle of the plain, so he had to climb up and stayed there without fear of great miracles. Furthermore, sins filled the hermitage like wool, so the realization of reflecting on cause and effect manifested. Grasping the two horns of sin, he confessed sins and non-virtues separately while splitting them in half. He said, "Do not rely on meaning, but rely on words." With this, he made a joke.

Having abandoned it, everything transformed into Vairochana and soared into the sky. Once again, an army of ants came, and (the master) said, "Bring the club." He struck with the club. The attendant said, "Please consider the sin." (The master) felt ashamed. (The master) said, "If you don't believe it, I will do it this way." Then, putting the ants in his mouth, he blew on them. Everything transformed into Vajrasattva, standing upright and soaring into the sky, and the attendant was very convinced. The miracles of killing and saving were inconceivable, so he placed the three local deities, brother and sisters, under oath, and actually manifested their forms, placing his feet on their heads. The accomplishment water from driving a stake into the rock still exists today. There, he practiced the mudra meditation that arose from the secret illusion, and saw the face of Vajrasattva. The valley of Tag was filled with Vajrasattva. Because of the exhaustion of appearances, he attained the source of birth, and his body became fire, water, wind, and dust, and everything that appeared shone brightly as the nature of Vajrasattva, and the power of good thoughts increased. He thought that he had not completely surrendered. There, appearance, mind, and dharmata merged into one taste, and he reached the state of exhaustion of thought. There was no obstruction to all land, stones, mountains, and rocks, and he gained control over the five elements, such as flying in the sky like a bird. He said, "In a month, a worthy disciple will come." After some time, a scholar of characteristics named Sba Geshé Tong came to the Dharma wheel of Tag. He sent a clever monk to Zurchung to debate. That person pointed at the pillar and said, "The pillar is a dharma." The pillar is a dharma. You say that the pillar appears as self-existent in the illusion of the worldly Svātantrika, but for me, in the meaning of the Great Perfection, self-appearing without discrimination, the pillar does not exist. Then, waving his hand, (the pillar) disappeared without obstruction. He was amazed and could not speak. He gained great faith and became a disciple, named Mato Jangbar. This is the stone pillar. It is said that fragments still exist today, which is fine if it is not the desire of those who cling to things. He had four pillar-like disciples, eight beam-like disciples, sixteen rafter-like disciples, thirty-two purlin-like disciples, two meditators, one Yupo Che, two ordinary people, two Taguras, three disobedient people, and so on, many came.
