From the great, through the deities of Vairochana Great Purity (rnam par snang mdzad dri chen), empowerment was bestowed, and an experience like a snake shedding its skin arose for Bha Ro. Similarly, from the swift path of Vajra Secret, the urine of Don Yod Grub Pa was dripped onto the tongue, and the wisdom of great bliss, free from outflows, blazed forth suddenly. Placing a finger on the heart, he said, "Recognize this action of mine," and the grasping at objects vanished instantly. He said, "Do not be distracted by seeing me, there is not a bit to meditate on this," and the realization of Dzogchen self-liberation, without differentiation, arose clearly. A special conviction arose, and now, even if the Buddhas of the three times were to come, there was no thought of asking for empowerment. When asked to cut off the thought of going to India, (the teacher) said, "If a Buddha who does not wander in samsara were to appear, that would be a heretic. You go to India, and if you find a lama, seek a lama, and if you find a disciple, seek a disciple." These words seemed to have a very profound meaning. In general, the Nepali Bha Ro, this person awakened from (samsara), had great faith, and saw the teacher's sidelong glance with wrathful eyes, and the appearances of dakinis and Dharma protectors as purely immaculate. Once, he was asked if these magical powers had shown signs of manifestation. (He) said, "The practice has been put into action, and there is no time to practice even reciting Mani." Then the Nepali asked to demonstrate the power of liberation. He drew a picture of a rabbit on the ground near a rabbit that was walking nearby. He recited the mantra seven times over a needle and stabbed the image, and the rabbit rolled down. He said, "Now it is necessary to clear away obscurations, come," and then tied on the liberation cord, and blessed it with a tsok offering, torma, and dedication. When asked if it would be terrible if something like that happened to a person, (he) said, "People are like marmots," and then performed the same action on the image of a marmot as before, and a corpse came out of the marmot hole. He said, "If you do this, this is what will happen, because it harms sentient beings, so I will not give it to anyone. Even to an enemy, I will only use the power of increase, and will not do anything else. This fellow has been promoted because he became an animal, otherwise it is very difficult to obtain a human body, and the sin of killing is boundless. It is not enough for one to die, all those around it will suffer. Even to an enemy, one should not use curses, but rather generate compassion," and thus he especially embraced the conduct of a Bodhisattva, and did not use curses and magical powers for his own benefit.

The vow of Uḍḍiyāna not to act is extremely firm. From the aspect of compassion entering the realm, even the three lower realms are liberated by compassion. This is what the great Guru manifested: he killed the karmic body, the aggregate of the five poisons; he nourished the consciousness in the expanse of dharmatā, making saṃsāra finite. Therefore, among killing and saving, this is also very wondrous. When the Nepalese Bha ro was about to leave, he offered sixty sho of gold and requested that there be no obstacles to his return to China and Nepal. Then, he mixed half of the gold with ashes and performed a fire offering, and the knot of miserliness was completely untied. In general, this is a wondrous act showing belief in the Three Jewels. Even those who are accustomed to giving, with the Three Jewels as the object, do not outwardly show doubt about giving to non-material things, but in reality, they prefer the aspect of virtue that appears as material objects, which is somewhat lacking in consideration. Therefore, he said to Bha ro, "Do not be stingy with the ashes of the fire offering, but scatter them in the water. Someone will come to give you food on the road, accept it." He did as he was told, and a girl gave him a handful of millet, which he offered to the Guru. The Guru said, "Use it to dye a piece of cloth." Soon, it became bright and produced a sweet and soft juice. "Now your matter is accomplished. Do not tell others about the extraordinary qualities of me that you have seen." Later, when Bha ro was going to India, he escorted him for a distance and offered three more sho of gold. At that time, the Guru said, "Burning in fire pleases the ḍākinīs, scattering in water will please them even more." Then he scattered the gold into the water. He brought to maturity and liberation Padma Wangchen, who became a holy son, and Nyima Ozer, born from the womb, and other eight sons, as well as nine disciples who were worthy vessels. Great lamas such as the Three Songs of Chuzhal and many great people relied on him. Mainly, he performed activities with mani as the primary focus, planting vast seeds of liberation throughout Tibet. In particular, the one named Accomplished Mani Rinchen greatly developed the activities of great compassion in Kham. Indra and the sons of the sun and moon also made offerings and praises. All the gods and demons of Tibet revered him as their lama, and his fame covered the world. In the field of accumulating merit for beings, it was like a marketplace.
