That Khenpo, whenever he went to the Sangha to turn the Dharma wheel, Langlab did not prostrate. He thought, "This is a foolish person." Later, upon hearing of Langlab's qualities, he said, "Then, tonight, let him lose his life!" Thus, he began the fierce practice of wrathful rites. The first time he performed the summoning, a rain of ice-hail phurba fell upon him and his disciples, and the monks of Tophi said. The second time, a rain of iron phurba, along with the mandala of the ten directions' wrathful deities devouring and killing, fell. The last time, fire and loud noises filled the air, and when he looked at the sky, Vajrakilaya, like red-hot iron, threatening and intimidating like a mountain collapsing on the head of Tsampa Rawlo, he became frightened and asked for forgiveness, and served him with prostrations and offerings. The Khenpo of Yama being called "Phur-la Druk" (struck by the phurba) originated from that time. It is said that many attained siddhis from the upper part of the phurba practice, but no such power has arisen from the lower part. Among his main disciples were Nanam Sherab Tsultrim, Kyigyang Shyegyal of Mongu, Drangphur Bumgo of Rong, and Nyangnak of Uyuk Rolpo. Among these, Kyigyang Shyegyal was like this: Kyiben Jangchub Rinchen's house, fields, and wealth were taken away by his paternal relatives. He became very sad and requested the phurba practice from Langlab, who told him to propitiate the deity for nine months, and then said, "Practice with birch, iron, and crystal for two months, and the matter will be accomplished." He did as he was told, and his power reached its limit. He saw many people sunbathing by the wall and thought, "There is not one who is not an enemy." So he pointed the phurba at the wall, and the wall collapsed, sending everyone to the path of the afterlife. Therefore, he was called Kyigyang Shyegyal. Like this, many capable people appeared, too many to write down. In general, it is said that the power of this phurba is extremely great. The great teacher used it to counter a fire that had broken out in a sandalwood forest, restoring the forest to its original state. Vimala used it to counter the Ganges flowing upstream, causing the Ganges to be cut off up and down. The Nepalese Shrila Manjya used it to counter a rocky castle, causing the rocky mountain to collapse into pieces. Jomo Khachenza stepped on the footprint of a wolf on the ground, causing the wolf to roll down a cliff. Meynu Gyalwai Nyingpo threatened a crow that had taken a rosary, causing the crow to fall to the ground. Lobel Lodro hit the enemy's camp with it, causing the Mon army to collapse. And so on.

Therefore, when it strikes enemies and obstacles, no magical power can stop it, and when it strikes the five inner poisons, countless supreme accomplishments are obtained. Furthermore, many terma treasures have not been forged or tampered with. The clear sign is that the Great Master Padmasambhava bestowed the empowerment lineage and teachings to the Emperor (King), and together with the Hayagriva Yangsang (Most Secret) Dharma cycle, buried them as terma in the rocks of Yerpa Sewa Lung. When the accomplished master Andar Phyarupa practiced in the upper cave of Jomo Nakgyal, he personally met the Great Master Padmasambhava. The Master said, "Practice in the Yerpa Moon Cave." He did as instructed. There, every morning, the Great Master Padmasambhava would come riding on sunbeams and teach the Dharma. Every evening, he would say, "I am going to subdue the rakshasas," and then depart riding on sunbeams. At that time, the symbolic material vajra kila (phurba) terma was extracted from Yerpa's Sewa Lung. When he went to the Lhasa market, a great storm destroyed the market. Then, when he went to Tsang, Sakya Pandita (Sa-pan, 1182-1251) went to Kyirong, and they met in one room. Andar Phyarupa began to recite, "Om Vajra Kili Kilaya (藏文:ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཀྱི་ལི་ཀྱི་ལཱ་ཡ་,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ vajra kīlī kīlāya,汉语字面意思:嗡 班匝 杰利 杰拉亚)." Sakya Pandita (Sa-pan) said, "That's not right, it should be recited as Vajra Kili Kilaya (藏文:བཛྲ་ཀཱི་ལི་ཀཱི་ལ་ཡ་,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:vajra kīlī kīlāya,汉语字面意思:班匝 杰利 杰拉亚)." Andar Phyarupa was displeased by this and said, "Even if the mantra is not correct, it should be done this way." Having said that, he stamped the rock with the vajra kila, as if it were on clay. When he twisted the vajra kila back and pulled it back, it damaged a little bit from the glory. Sakya Pandita (Sa-pan) therefore knew that he was an accomplished one and said, "I am going to debate with the heretics, you must come as an assistant." He agreed, and then they went together. When they arrived in Kyirong, they erected a flag symbolizing the victory of Buddhism, according to Indian custom. Sakya Pandita (Sa-pan) and the robber Gawa engaged in debate for thirteen days. In the end, Sakya Pandita (Sa-pan) won the debate. However, the robber Gawa refused to convert to Buddhism, so that heretic threw his hair back, stretched out his hands like wings, and flew into the sky. Sakya Pandita (Sa-pan) became like paralyzed, and shouted, "Vajra Kili Kila (藏文:བཛྲ་ཀྱི་ལི་ཀྱི་ལ་,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:vajra kīlī kīla,汉语字面意思:班匝 杰利 杰拉) come quickly!" At that moment, the great lord of yoga inserted the vajra kila into the heart of the heretic's shadow, reciting: Om Vajra Kili Kilaya Hum Phat
