He listened to many teachings. During the time of the secret tantras, the great translator Marpa said, "If we had the Indian text now, it would go like this, but since we don't have the Indian text, it cannot be corrected now." Gorub Lotsawa kept this in mind. Later, he obtained the Indian text from a pandita named Krishna (Sanskrit Devanagari: कृष्णा, Sanskrit Romanization: Kṛṣṇa, Chinese literal meaning: Black), and listened to it. As a result, it turned out to be the same as Rongpa Dhandita had said, and he gained great joy. He offered the Indian text he had received from Krishna to Rongpa himself and listened to it again. Similarly, translators such as Marpa Chokyi Wangchuk, and many intelligent people known as scholars, also prostrated at his feet. He relied on many Indian abbots such as Manjushri Varma, Manjushri Jnana, Upaya Shri Mitra, Buddha Akara Bhadra, Depa Kara Chandra, Parameshvara, and Amoghavajra, and acted as their translator, translating many scriptures such as Vajrabhairava, Yamari Tantra, Manjushri Meaning Mantra, and Chakrasamvara Root Tantra. Because the translation was very good, it was worthy of being an example of the new translation. All the Indian panditas said, "Dharma Bhadra, you have composed many dharmas and saved beings! Leaving aside your other qualities, even if you only know about one-third of this system of phonetics, you can still compose dharma in India, so why don't you compose?" Although he possessed such perfect qualities, because he was humble and subdued his pride, the Victorious Longchenpa, in expressing his superiority over the Indian commentaries, also wrote below his own excellent commentary, the Jewel Commentary, "Even if the treatises composed by wise and great beings are criticized and judged, how can my treatise not be blamed?" Even if the tantra compiled by the great being Vajrapani is examined by the wisdom transformed by darkness, what need is there to mention my commentary? In this way, he followed the biography of the teacher Shantideva and naturally demonstrated the conduct of a Bodhisattva. If we measure the biography of the accomplished one, even on the face of a steep rock like a mirror, he could walk with miraculous powers, and drive stakes into rocks, fly in the sky, and most of the Tibetan gods and demons.

Although he was well-versed in the abodes and conduct of the three times and possessed many qualities such as clairvoyance, it is not surprising that such an excellent view, for those who have attained the fourfold correct knowledge, is expressed in writing as a sign of manifestation to make ordinary people believe. Thus, this great Paṇḍita, who was undisputed as an emanation body, was praised and bowed to by all the scholars who appeared at that time. It is said that he lived to the age of one hundred and nineteen and passed away without illness. Gö Lotsāwa Chenpo also praised him, saying that no scholar equal to him had ever appeared in the land of Tibet, and he was widely known. His disciples were of two lineages: the lineage of sons and the lineage of students. The first was: From the two sons, Ziji Bar and Bum Bar, all who came from the lineage of sons for a long time were only those who attained siddhis from Vajrakīla. The lineage of students included: Go Rup Lotsāwa, Marpa Dopa, Gö Lo, and other great translators, seventeen in all; Yak Dorje Dzinpa and others, thirty-five great siddhas; Machik Zhama's brother, Je Khunbupa, and others, one hundred and eighty great yogis; Yöl Gewa Nyen Dorje Wangchuk, Yangkhyer Lama, and others, five hundred umbrella-bearers, and so on. Thus, the former ancestors also held Kīla alone as the main yidam, which can be known from the teachings of Yangdak. A little about how Vajrakīla flourished: It was transmitted through the feet of the master of awareness, the Abbot of Uḍḍiyāna, Padmasambhava. There are various names such as Kīla King tradition, Jomo tradition, Lcam tradition, and also Snanam or Rong tradition, Lha Nak, and Lha Khra, which are known from the body color. However, these are the same in essence, and are known by different names due to the emphasis of the key instructions and the distinction of the transmission. The first of these is that after Samye was completed, the great master gave it to the Tsenpo Trisong Detsen, Jomo Kharchen Bza', and the three people who invited the eyes, hence the name. The Jomo tradition is: Before the master passed away, he used the condensed essence of the upper part of the root Kīla to practice enlightenment,
