the four empowerments, and the instruction manual on the letters written by Melongpa. He also gave instructions on the Dzogchen Aro's oral instructions. Similarly, he also gave the red instructions on Great Compassion, which were passed down from Bodhisattva Ye Gyalwa. Because of this reason, Go Lotsawa Yeshe Zangpo became particularly interested in the so-called Nyingma school, and was almost not tainted by the obscuration of abandoning the Dharma. It is said that he has reached the ultimate meaning of going beyond hearing, which is a definite conclusion. Thus, Dharma Lord Sangye Rinchen went to Ü (Central Tibet) in the seventy-second Iron Ox year (1361). At the Samtenling (Meditation Island) of Gungpori (Gongpo Mountain), he received many empowerments such as the Düpa Do (Sutra of Gathering), and explanations and many transmissions of the Sangnying (Guhyagarbha Tantra) etc. from the feet of Wang Drakpa Gyaltsen. He passed away in Tsang (Western Tibet) in the eighty-second Iron Pig year (1371). Four hundred and seventeen years have passed from the birth of Zur Chungpa to this time. Also, the disciple of the great Dro Phukpa, the physician Sangye Drakpa from Kyonggye Gyatsa, his clan was Gyal, and he was born in Yarda Taktse in Gyal region. When he was young, he practiced Zambhala (藏文:ཛམ་བྷ་ལྷ།,梵文天城体:कुबेर,梵文罗马拟音:Kubera,汉语字面意思:俱毗罗), so the small field he had was also washed away by the water. He went to be a beggar, and found that there was a corpse of a wealthy and beautiful woman in Pugu Dor, and no one came to carry it. He felt strong compassion and practiced non-discrimination, and as a result, a lot of gold appeared next to the corpse. This seems to be the accomplishment given by Zambhala. After he returned, he met Kyungpo Chowo in Drakchi Khangmar. He practiced to serve Kyungpo Chowo's practice, so he saw the face of the nine-faced Yangdak Marme (Perfect Lamp). After that, he went to Tsang and heard the Sutra and Mayajala (Illusion Net) etc. from the nephew of Gyachenpo, a disciple of Secret Lord Dro Phuk. There, he offered a hundred loads of grain to a rich man. Because the conditions were not hindered, he became a disciple of Nyangnak Dowo, a disciple of Dro Phuk. He also heard the Mayajala from Lhaje Da Seng, a disciple of Nyangnak Dowo. He became a great scholar and established a stone-topped temple in his hometown. Gya Ching Ruba, a disciple of Gyalwa Shipo, also relied on the Stone-topped One and heard many teachings. In particular, he had a disciple who was both knowledgeable and accomplished, a hero named Kyi Chokyi Senge. He was the

When he came before the (king), the king, in order to test his ability, resolved to enclose him in a stupa, bricked up the door, and left him for a year. When the time came to open it, he had turned into a Vajrakila statue, and they were greatly amazed. He gave Dotoppa a large amount of silk and other items. There were also many monasteries and estates demarcated by rainbows, and they became very prosperous. Now it is only a vestige of the name, and the rise and fall of this Buddhism is truly saddening! The disciple of Kyechö Kyi Senge was Menlungpa Shakya Ö. This was the eldest of the five sons born to Nyangtön Chenpo of Khyongpo Kheru, who were known as the "Five Brothers of Yarlung Tulku". Because his hometown was Yarlung and the monastery was Menlung, that is what he was called. The seat of the second "Holder of the Doctrine" is the same monastery ruin that is now called "Chöden". His real name was Gönpo Dorje, and because he had attained great accomplishment, the imprint of his back leaning against the wall had sunk in, and it is still there today. It seems that a large monastic college was built here in the past, so many cloths of the Vinaya are seen. It is said that because he practiced medicine, even sins and ants and maggots were rare in this place. The guardian deity is very powerful, and it seems that he is still protecting the monastery ruins, and the gods and demons are very faithful to their vows. The following three are Kaldanpa, Durkhropa, and Wanggyalwa. Of these, the first one here, Menlungpa Shakya Ö, learned the Sutra of Illusion well from Kyechö Kyi Senge. Later, he also listened to the essential points of the Guhyagarbha Tantra and the Tika Tantra meaning from Lan Shakya Öpo's son, Lan Khenpo Sönam Gyaltsen, and made many documents. His disciple was Sangye Gonglawa of Dagpo. From the very beginning, many disciples such as Gnyal emerged. Mainly, he became the master of Gön Gyö Dakpo, and thus became very prosperous in Kham. In addition, Shakya Bumpa, the nephew of Menlungpa, also expertly learned the explanation of the Guhyagarbha Tantra. To this, Khenpo Chöpal and his son also listened well to the explanation of the Guhyagarbha Tantra. The lineage of Menlungpa also became the lord of the Dharma at the time of the Upper and Lower Treasure Discoveries. Kyechö Kyi Senge
