Thereupon, the foundation of the temple was laid. It is said that the stonemasons said they slightly reduced the size to make it the same size as the Lhakhang (temple) of Nyang-stod rtse (place name). Likewise, since most of the craftsmen were fond of engaging in non-meritorious activities, all the wood was uneven, and of varying lengths, they only thought of ways to cut corners. However, since the courage of a Bodhisattva accustomed to giving like this could not be swayed by thoughts of stinginess and deception, he regarded wealth and possessions as dreams and illusions. One large pillar was cut off and not aligned, he showed the sign of accomplishment of making the lengths even by rolling it with his feet. There is a vajra mark on it. Similarly, for those pillars that had become crooked, he straightened them like arrows by rolling them with his feet. When the craftsmen saw his immeasurable compassion and power, such as being able to tolerate wrong practices, they were all filled with great remorse. After the temple was completed, a special portico was made with the remaining wood, without walls, supported by four pillars, which was known as "The Vast Expanse of Repentance," and it was later converted into a Protector Chapel. Thus, the top of the temple, the four pillars, mainly enshrined the peaceful deities headed by Vairochana Buddha. In the upper cloister, at the site of the eight pillars, there were two gate guardians and seven horses. In the two side chapels, north and south, there were Yumchenmo (Great Mother, an important female deity in Tibetan Buddhism) and four offering goddesses surrounding Dipankara Buddha. In the Protector Chapel, there were Legden, Palden Lhamo, Brahma, and Indra, all made in relief. In the upper cloister, at the site of the eight pillars, there were murals of the lineage of Lamas. In the surrounding room, there were twenty-three mandalas, including the Hundred-Petaled Lotus Mandala, etc. In the lower cloister, at the site of the twenty pillars, there were a thousand Buddhas, the Buddhas of the ten directions, Amitayus surrounded by close disciples, the Seven Buddhas of the Past, the Twelve Deeds, Bodhisattva Dharmaraja, Tara saving from the eight fears, the Three Protectors, the Pure Land arrangement of Malaya, the Wheel of Life, etc., all painted as murals. Thus, after the civil engineering was completed, he said, "Now I will cover my temple with gold up to the roof." He thought to extract gold from the gold mine. At midnight, the local deity Tsen (a Tibetan spirit) appeared as a black horseman. He paid homage and circumambulated Zurpoche (place name) and said, "If the roof of the temple is covered with gold, we

Because the gold was exhausted, (they) said they would offer a definite deity statue, and (they) did so. At the time of consecration, the two venerable Zur Chenchung entered from the crown of Kunrig Namnang and exited from the heart, entered from the heart and exited from the crown, displaying countless miraculous transformations. The craftsmen developed faith from the depths of their hearts, saying that the lama's temple, like Mount Sumeru, is the support of the stupa. Modeled after the Samye Blue Stupa, a stupa was built and offered with devotion to the north of the Tashi Gomang Temple. The lama's name spread to the monastery's location, so it became widely known as Pal Uk Jyalung. It was started during the time of Lhaje Zurpoche, Zurchungpa initiated it, and Zur Shakya Senge made it flourish. It is said that this lineage made great contributions to the Nyingma Vajrayana teachings. After that, extensive activities such as teaching and practice were carried out for the benefit of beings. Once, the master and disciples were doing a rigorous annual retreat in Yangben Sermo. Because the butter ran out and there was no lamp oil, the spring water was blessed for seven days and turned into butter, from which butter could be taken endlessly. There, initially, those who taught and practiced focused mainly on teaching. At first, talent and wisdom were scarce. When they debated in the Dharma assembly, those with talent and wisdom knew, and those without debate were assigned to the side of those who did not know. When performing the regular offering of tormas, those with talent and wisdom did not listen to the chanting. To this, the lama said: Anyone who achieves ultimate realization through one (path) is liberated. One should not belittle another. The views of the nine vehicles exist in their respective positions, not clinging to a particular vehicle. After saying this, everyone developed a special understanding of the meaning and became peaceful and gentle. At that time, the lama said to the four outstanding disciples: What is most important in practicing the path? Each of you four should share your understanding. Zurchungpa said: The strong habitual tendencies from the past, if not practiced, seem not to disappear. Therefore, it is very important to make a firm decision to practice. The obscurations of separation, like dirt, must be cleared away now. Therefore, it is very important to engage in virtuous activities morning and evening. Until the true nature is realized, one must accumulate the accumulation of merit. Therefore, one must strive to perform even the smallest virtuous deeds.
