Having practiced the Yangdak Lha Gu (Nine Deities of Perfection) Sadhana in a single teaching, he directly saw the face of the glorious Yangdak Lha Gu. Thus, the place where he resided became widely known as Lama Ukpa Lungpa. There, the resources for practice were scarce, and a prophecy of departure also arose, so he prepared to travel to the south. At that time, the local deity Zere Zetsen manifested and requested him to stay. He said, "I also have a prophecy to go to another place, and I have no resources, so I must go." The local deity said, "I will provide for the livelihood of the master and disciples. Please stay no matter what." So the lama agreed to stay for a while. A wealthy man from the black horse area became seriously ill, and (people) said, "Make a Tsok Tor offering to Molung, and ask Lama Ukpa Lungpa for blessings." When the sick man went to the lama, he felt comfortable just by seeing his face. He asked for blessings, and as soon as the Tsokhor (gathering circle) was done, he was freed from the illness. Similarly, countless blessings came to those who were tormented by illness and evil spirits, so people believed in him and accumulated great merit. The lama thought, "This common merit is a great obstacle to achieving the supreme path. I must go to Riwo Gugye (Mountain of Nine Accumulations) to meditate." Just as he was about to leave, the local deity said, "I have already offered the resources for practice, please stay no matter what." The lama said, "Your livelihood is also difficult, and it will become a distraction for gatherings, so I must go this time." His (the local deity's) face was filled with tears, and he said, "If you will not stay no matter what, please have compassion for me as well." So he offered his life essence. The lama gave him the vows of a layperson and instructed him to protect the Dharma. Marlam Jomo Namar also made a vow. After that, he went to Yaru Tag. He said to Zur Chungpa, "I received a prophecy to go to Riwo Gugye to meditate, and it seems that this is Drak Gyapo (Great Rock)." So the master and disciples all began to practice. At that time, Lhaje Zurpoche had four top disciples, five secret disciples, and one hundred and eight practitioners. The four top disciples were: Zur Chung Sherab Drak, who became the top in terms of view; Minyak Kyung Drak, who became the top in terms of explaining illusions; Zhang Ngo Chung, who became the top in terms of knowledge; and Zang Gom Sherab Gyalpo, who became the top in terms of practice. The secret disciple was Tsa Lama, who became the top in divination on top of the Dharma.

It is also mentioned that there are eight apexes and hidden places. Similarly, like Drung Gom Paagying, Yul Gom Nagmo, Je Gom Shakya Gyal, Zur Gom Dorjung, Yu Gom Joebar, Ba Gom Sonam Nyingpo, there were one hundred and eight great meditators. All of them were known only for having attained miraculous powers such as being able to travel in the sky. Then, after a while, three women came to the Lama. They said, "In the lower part of Yaru Shang, east of Shang Chu, there is a valley shaped like a crescent moon. At the top of the valley is a rock that looks like a heart, and at the bottom of the valley is a plain that looks like the skin of an animal that has not been scalded. The shape of the mountain is like an elephant's trunk, and on top of it is a rock that looks like a lion's skull. Three rivers flow from three mountains, where one can realize the meaning of the three kayas. If you meditate there, you will attain enlightenment in this lifetime and benefit beings for a long time." So, (the Lama) made Zur Chungpa the protector of Drak Gyabo (rock giant) as a place of practice. The Lama and his entourage came down there. The Lama recognized the place, and Zhangmo Yonten Gyen became the patron. The Lama stayed in the cave that she offered. Including Zur Chungpa, there were more than a hundred great meditators, who practiced in the upper and lower parts of the valley, relying on tents, rock shelters, and tree shelters. Seven local families provided services, and the basis of the patrons was Srampa Bongrongpa. They regarded the Lama as the actual Buddha. They practiced there for many years, and saw the faces of the forty-two peaceful deities and the fifty wrathful deities. In particular, he saw the assembly of Yangdak (藏文,ཡང་དག,梵文天城体:वज्र,梵文罗马拟音:Vajra,汉语字面意思:Vajra) deities as if meeting people, and conversed with them. He employed the eight Gauris and others as servants. Non-humans also listened to whatever tasks were assigned. There, the Lama said, "I see all the land, stones, and rocks of Ugpa Lung as the mandala of peaceful and wrathful deities. In particular, I constantly see the southern mountain of Wen Sermo as the five Buddhas, so build a peaceful temple." Having said that, he began preparations. After examining the site, he corrected the bad geographical locations. On the cliff of the southern mountain, which looks like a black poisonous snake crawling downwards, he built the statue of Zurpoche Palchenpo. A footprint also appeared where he placed his right foot. There, there is a stupa with hundreds of thousands of Heruka (藏文:ཧེ་རུ་ཀ,梵文天城体:हेरुक,梵文罗马拟音:Heruka,汉语字面意思:blood drinker) images, and five stupas in the four directions and the center, as well as four apexes and five hidden stupas. He covered and sealed the spring where the Naga Dungkyong resided with copper.
