That wealthy man also offered the skull with the black border of Mon as an object of oath. He attained unobstructed clairvoyance and miraculous powers. He made the heart of the practice place in Yangdzong of Nyagrong in Central Tibet. Likewise, in the stone box of Nyuk, he secured the stronghold of mind for nine months. His footsteps traversed places like Pungpo Riwoche in Tsang and Yung's Dzhalungmo. At the age of sixty-one, a rebellion broke out in Nyagrong, and he destroyed many cities with the sharp wrathful mantra of the executioner of Yama. Thus it is said: "Like me, Sangye Yeshe, made the hermitage Yama into a castle. On the black peak of Nyagrong, I turned the wheel of the near-reaching wind. I destroyed thirty-seven cities of Nyagrong." So it is said. Later, he fled to the village of Nub. There, too, he was not allowed to stay, so he seized Nyemo's white castle. There, too, he was surrounded by an army of soldiers, and when he was in danger of risking his life, he invoked the gods and powerful evil spirits as witnesses from the top of the castle. He struck the truth of the oath, and when he shook his Dharma robes, the oath-bound protectors appeared manifestly, saying, "With our power and strength, we can turn Mount Meru to ashes, we can collide the sun and moon, we can turn heaven and earth upside down, but because the karmic debts of previous lives have erupted, we could not help before. Now we will follow your command." Saying this, he took out a sengdeng phurba (wooden stake) from the ritual of the Dharma robes, extracted the life essence of the oath-bound ones, rolled it down the hillside where the soldiers were, and threatened them. A great fire arose from the mountain and burned and destroyed all the soldiers. Later, he greatly regretted it, and it is said that he used the lamp of meditative vision to purify his sins. After subduing the enemy, he was poor and destitute for three years. He received instructions on the essential points of mind and illusion from Sogpo Pelgyi Yeshe. In Yangdzong of Nyagrong, he focused on the samadhi of suchness. Until the time of the ruler Relpachen, he traveled back and forth between India and Tibet. Unable to bear Dharma's destruction of the teachings, he again gathered many sharp wrathful mantras and intended to connect them with manifest compassion, but because the sinful king Lhalung Pelgyi Dorje had already slain (Dharma), he feared that the wrathful mantras would become chaotic, so he hid them as treasures.

He propagated the teachings of the three Mind Sections without interruption to the assembly of disciples. Finally, through the path of the Great Perfection of Naturalness, he passed into nirvana in a spontaneously accomplished mass of light. He had one supreme son as a lineage holder, and four or five heart-disciples. The supreme son, Yönten Gyatso, was connected as father and son in his previous life. In this life, he was born in Nub Khulung. In his previous life, his elder brother, Dāna Dāla from India, accomplished the siddhi of the swift-footed (Tibetan: རྐང་མགྱོགས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: शीघ्रगामी, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: shīghragāmī, literal meaning: fast-walking) of a yaksha woman, but he failed because his wings were broken. Later, he accomplished the other swift-footed one. He carried Dāna Dāla in a bag and delivered him to the residence of Yönten Gyatso in Khulung one midnight. There, Yönten Gyatso's previous incarnation compassionately bestowed empowerment upon the one who had become his younger brother. Because he bestowed common siddhis upon the patrons, it is said that they prospered for up to seven generations. Yönten Gyatso said that the practice place should not be in a village, and he indicated a location like the ridge of Khardong Yönma, and gave the cycles of the Dharma protector Shinje Marnak and the Matrikas, and then departed for India. There, when Yönten Gyatso was thirty years old, he met the teacher Sangye Yeshe, who was wandering in a dog kennel and residing in black form on the ruins of Nar. He thought that they were of the same lineage and had the same fortune, so he initiated him into the Dharma and took him under his care. The view was like Gangdril. The hidden was brought to light. The secret was like the contents of his stomach. He explained the four postures, namely, Startakha and the method of eliminating obstacles, and it is said that all the instructions were completed. This person also had arrogance arise, and when he was surrounded by a hundred executioners, he also manifestly accomplished the magical power of the burning posture. He conjured fire to blaze from his right eye and water to gush from his left eye, so that they had no opportunity to strike, and they had to flee, dropping their respective weapons. In general, he saw the faces of many yidams, and he subjugated the oath-bound ones as servants. He realized the truth of the nature of reality, and he was one who attained both great siddhis. Because it is not possible to record the detailed biography in writing, it can be known from the documents of So-lug and so on. The four heart-disciples were: to So Yeshe Wangchuk, he explained the view like Gangdril; to Pagor Lönchen Phak, he explained it in conjunction with the scriptures, commentaries, and ṭīkā (Sanskrit Devanagari: टीका, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: ṭīkā, literal meaning: commentary); to Dan Yönten Chok, he explained the method of Startakha and eliminating obstacles.
