Geshe said, "Now it's time to go." When I requested to stay by his side, he said, "Since I am about to abandon this decaying illusory body, do not make noise, but remain in meditative equipoise." After placing the precious remains in the posture of the Dharmakaya, when his mind dissolved into the primordial expanse, this great earth also seemed to be contained within his heart. With the appearance of shaking violently, the body lifted and swayed; with the appearance of roaring loudly, it began to wail. The remains were kept for twenty-five days, and the gods who rejoiced in the teachings erected a rainbow tent and showered down flowers. When his mind dissolved into the nature of reality, the four great elements also lost the stability of maintaining the order of the four seasons. In both the months of the king and miracles, the frost melted during the day, and the leaves of the sala tree grew. When the remains were invited to the sacred cremation ground, an earthquake occurred, and a great sound resounded seven times. During the cremation, as a sign of the body, speech, and mind, the three vajras attaining enlightenment, his heart, tongue, and eyes descended into the laps of fortunate disciples. Because he fully realized the attainments of the five kayas and five wisdoms, five large relics and countless small relics appeared. The large relics multiplied by the hundreds and thousands, which is undisputed. Even those small amounts of undamaged remains that were preserved cannot be harmed by the harm of upper realm demons to this day, which is obvious evidence. The writings of this great being are no different from the teachings of the Buddha.
