Its meaning is explained very extensively, being the nature of the twenty-five Supreme Vehicle Treasury series. Its key points are summarized as the Eleven Chapters of the Vajra Place of the Precious Treasury of Words and Meanings. The ultimate state of the essence of all three of Mind, Space, and Instruction is the Precious Treasury Root, Chapter Five. Together with the commentary, in short, most of the Seven Treasures appeared in this place. Generally, the Mantra Lord Planets and the Three Oath-bound Ones are employed like servants and obey orders. Therefore, when writing these treasures, (the master) had the Great All-Pervading One smear ink on Mount Kailash, which the attendant personally witnessed. Thus, the practice places where one dwells solely in seclusion for the sake of explaining and practicing the essence of meaning are: Samye Chimpu, Orgyen Dzong, Lharing Drak, Traphu, Shukseb, Gangri Thökar (White Skull of Mount Kailash), Zhutö Tigro, Yerba, Yarlha Shampo, Bumthang, Kyambu Palgyi Geding, Gongpo Ri's Lhawa Lung, and the sources of Kongpo Tsagong, most of which are permanently established on Mount Kailash. In all the lands of Lhodrak, Ütsang, and Lhomön, gatherings of thousands of disciples listening to teachings occurred many times. He also showed great care for them, not collecting religious taxes, not wasting offerings, focusing solely on the disciples' affairs, enduring asceticism and fatigue. He entertained them with grand feast wheels, understood the thoughts of others, and had immeasurable skillful means of taming. In short, he attained the state of abandoning self-interest and perfecting realization. His activities of benefiting beings, such as completely exhausting desires, are inconceivable, and the liberation stories of placing disciples on the path to maturation and liberation are what this great being put into practice. Drikung Gompa Kunrin, intoxicated by pride in his own power, began to plot war. In the prophecy of the great teacher, it is said: In the place called Dri, a son of a demon named Kun, has weapon tattoos on his body, and after death, he will be born in hell. From the south, an emanation of Manjushri will subdue him. Gompa Kunrin saw this prophecy with the seed of white increase and looked at his own body, finding a flesh mark like a sword on his back.

It happened. Knowing this, he thought about starting a great upheaval in Utsang (Dbus gtsang), but then thought it would be meaningless if he went to hell, so he gave up the unbearable action. He proclaimed everywhere in search of the emanation of Manjushri. All the scholars agreed that there was no one more knowledgeable than the abbot of Samye (Bsam yas) in the four regions of Tibet (Bod ru bzhi). Convinced that he was the emanation of Manjushri, he invited him and made him the jewel on his head, so that all beings, in their temporary and ultimate actions, could have the causes, conditions, and results of unwholesomeness uprooted. At that time, Tai Situ Changchub Gyaltsen (Ta'i si tu byang chub rgyal mtshan), who was arrogant and difficult to show his hair knot to others in Utsang (Dbus gtsang), disagreed with him, thinking that he was a Drikung Kagyu (’Bri gung pa) lama. Through the activity of immeasurable great compassion, and by hanging the beautiful biographies of scholars and siddhas in the ears of Buddha Shri, he mediated the contradictions. He also placed his toenails on the head of the eight-legged lion king of the Tibetan Wood Door Year (Bod shing sgo can pa, possibly referring to a certain calendar). Similarly, the chief of the upper Utsang (Dbus gtsang), Situ Shakya Zangpo (Si tu shakya bzang po), and the chief of Yarlung (Yar ’brog), Dorje Gyaltsen (Rdo rje rgyal mtshan), and many other great figures also provided services. Like them, the offerings given by the faithful were also based on the biography of the master Nagarjuna (Nāgārjuna), and were not wasted in inappropriate places, but were offered to the Three Jewels with the utmost respect. He did not consider the items that had been vowed to the Dharma as his own, so he would never squander them. He taught that service should be for the Three Jewels, not for sinners, so he did not offer seats and hospitality to great figures. He said that accumulating merit was the business of the patrons, and that reversing the offerings was not good. No matter how generous the offering, he would only increase the merit through dedication, and would not seek reward. He was especially compassionate to the weak, and whatever the poor offered, he would enjoy it like a delicious meal, and diligently recite sutras and dedications. Such inconceivable actions, not to mention those who followed him in this life. Naturally, seeing, hearing, touching, and even being harmed, were connected to the state of happiness, and the seeds of liberation were sown, until the age of fifty.

At the age of sixty-six, in the Water Hare year (1243), it was a time to bestow the attainment of ripening and liberation upon many fortunate ones. He said to Prince Zopa, "Prepare ink and paper," and in the immaculate light of the testament, he wrote, "The nature of samsara has long been known, because worldly dharmas have no meaning. Now I will abandon this impermanent, illusory body and listen to the single beneficial instruction." And so on. Beginning with these words, the compassionate protector, the face of Padmasambhava, from the day he began to breathe, the fortune of beings is like a traveler on the road, the joyful harvest brought by death has been perfectly accomplished, like a merchant who has successfully profited in the ocean, a god who has completely triumphed on the battlefield, and the bliss of accomplished meditation is even more supreme. Now, not staying, the karmic dance of Padmasambhava will go to the steadfast land of the immortal, great bliss. And so on, thus showing the testament. Prince Zopa said, "Please do not say such things," and wept. He spoke many teachings based on the impermanence of conditioned things. Later, he was invited to Samye Monastery, and while turning the wheel of Dharma, he passed through Gyama and Samye, and arrived at Chimphu Palgyi Naktsal (Glorious Forest of Chimphu). He realized that all dharmas are like illusions, and that life is like going to a garden for a stroll. This great being placed these under practice. This place is like the cool charnel ground of India. It is better to die here than to be born elsewhere. I will leave this old illusory body here. Saying this, he showed signs of illness, but still did not stop teaching the Dharma. Feeling exhausted, he requested to stop teaching the Dharma for a while, and he said, "I intend to complete this Dharma." Then, on the sixteenth day of the ninth lunar month, he pleased the heroes and dakinis with great offerings and tormas, and taught the disciples: In general, conditioned things have no meaning, so focus solely on the Dharma. In particular, emphasize the practice of Trekchö and Tögal. If you encounter something you do not understand, this "Tigle Yizhin Norbu" (Drop, Wish-Fulfilling Jewel) is like a wish-fulfilling jewel, so observe carefully and meditate, and eventually you will pass into nirvana in the place where the nature of reality is exhausted. Then, on the eighteenth day, prepare an offering, and you yourselves...
