The pure realm of vast conduct, meditating on the eight aspects of a great being, practicing austerities for the sake of Dharma and enduring the wrongdoings of others is the perfection of patience. Overcoming laziness, which causes the waste of leisure and endowment, and striving in the ten practices of Dharma and the ten perfections is the perfection of diligence. Gathering is of the nature of separation, desire is the source of all evils. Having but not knowing contentment, increasing miserliness, being in common with disputants such as thieves, being contrary to the Dharma of liberation, therefore being condemned by the noble ones. The companions of children are of evil nature, those who do not repay kindness are difficult to satisfy, associating with the jealous and others only diminishes virtue. Bustle is always busy and of little meaning, no matter how hard one strives, there is no essence, conquering enemies is endless, and raising relatives is endless, these must be abandoned. Having abandoned thus, the solitary place in the forest is where the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the past also attained peace, without bustle and distraction, without trade and farming, away from the companions of children, happy to be with birds and wild animals, water and leaves are suitable for the food of asceticism, intelligence is naturally clear, a place where samadhi naturally increases, without enemies or friends, liberated from the bonds of attachment and aversion, a place with many virtues. The body possesses the seven dharmas of Vairochana, and the mind does not discriminate or grasp anything, abiding in that state is the perfection of meditation. Thus, all the appearances of the five external objects are clearly non-existent but appear as delusions, like a dream. Appearing suddenly from the assembly of causes and conditions, like an illusion. Appearing as if something non-existent exists, like a mirage. Appearing but not established as true, like a mirage. Appearing in any place, inside or outside, like an echo in a valley. Without support or supported, like a city of gandharvas. Appearing but without inherent existence, like the appearance of an image. Appearing without existing, like a city of emanations. Thus, by contemplating the eight similes of illusion, the empty form of non-things, one understands that the appearance of external objects is of a false nature. Thus, by examining the nature of the mind, the experiencer of appearances, the appearance of objects does not cease.

Sala. Pacifying the clinging to worldly perceptions. To rest in the state of realizing the nature of reality as empty and clear like the sky is the Prajnaparamita, and the certainty of this kind of guidance encompasses all the profound essence of the Paramita Vehicle and is the root of the Great Vehicle Dharma. Therefore, it liberates from the suffering of samsara, transcends the Hearer and Solitary Realizer Vehicles, the roots of virtue are inexhaustible and increase, great merit is obtained, the lineage of the Buddha is continued, and great benefit for others is accomplished, etc. Since there are countless benefits, it should be practiced with the completion of the three: preliminary, main, and concluding practices. The third is the meditation and recitation of Vajrasattva: What obstructs the arising of the special realization of the profound path is sin and obscuration, and the most excellent of purifying that is the yoga of Vajrasattva. The essence of the four powers is: Taking refuge in Vajrasattva and possessing the Bodhicitta of aspiration and action is the power of reliance; generating strong remorse for all the sins and non-virtuous deeds done in the past is the power of regret; vowing not to do it even if it costs one's life in the future is the power of restraint; doing the meditation and recitation of Vajrasattva as an antidote to what has been done in the past is the power of application. In the state of remembering the purity of the four powers, the recitation and meditation are combined: Oṃ. On the crown of my ordinary self, in the center of the white lotus and moon seat, from Hūṃ arises the Guru Vajrasattva, white and clear, with the complete enjoyment body, holding a vajra and bell, embracing the consort. I pray to you for refuge, please purify my sins. I confess with strong remorse. I vow not to do it even if it costs my life in the future. On the full moon above your heart, the Hūṃ syllable is surrounded by mantras. By reciting the mantra, the lineage of the mantra is stimulated. From the union of the father and mother in bliss, clouds of nectar Bodhicitta fall like camphor powder. Please purify the causes of karma, afflictions, and suffering of myself and all sentient beings in the three realms, diseases, evil spirits, sins, obscurations, faults, and stains. With such focused visualization and devotion, without being distracted by other thoughts, reciting the Hundred Syllable Mantra, from the Hūṃ syllable and mantra garland in the heart, the nectar of great bliss wisdom flows like melted moon.
