This is the completion, the complete emergence from the womb, as well as the aggregates of consciousness, the water element, and the aspect of holding the nature of the eight collections of mind consciousness. Affliction, hatred, the stage of completing the physical birthplaces of taking birth in the four modes of birth, practicing and purifying as the nature emanation body. The way to go as the ripening agent of the completion stage is that the essence of semen, blood, and wind, together with the mind, is extremely pure, the Vajra Holder of the fruition, and the suchness wisdom of the self-nature Buddhas, the fifth fruit of liberation, the nature of the Thus-Gone One, the aspect of completion in one's own continuum, by meditating on the deity's body adornments and complete attire as the path, in the fruition stage, it ripens into the nature of the wisdom realm and self-nature inseparable from all obscurations, and manifests enlightenment as the wisdom of the dharma realm. The tantra says: The moon is mirror-like wisdom. The seventh of the seven is equality. The seed syllable and hand symbol of one's own deity. Separately interpret the thought. All united is diligence. Completion is the purity of the dharma realm. Thus, combined with the order of the four modes of birth, the four ways of meditating on the generation stage should also be combined mainly with the magnitude of one's own imprints and habituation. As the King of the Victorious Ones, Longchenpa (Klong-chen-pa, 1308-1364) said: Thus, although there are four ways of meditating, mainly meditate with whichever birth is included. In order to purify imprints, all should meditate in that way. In particular, beginners should meditate like egg-born, meditate like womb-born when slightly stable, meditate like heat-moisture-born when more stable, and when extremely habituated, with true stability, instantly generate like miraculously born. As it is said. Second, there are two ways to meditate without going astray: one is to explain in detail according to the order of the faculties, in the manner of practicing with the path; the other is to explain how to combine the four stages of the path with the four vidyadhara levels of attainment within the scope of the four branches of approach and accomplishment, as if setting a boundary. The first has seven: holding the mind on the deity, correcting the faults of transformation, separating the deity, taking the deity as the way, combining the deity with one's own mind, combining the deity with meaning, and taking the object of enjoyment as the way.

Regarding fixing the mind on the deity: Those with great intellect should, from the very beginning, clearly visualize the deity's form, complete and unmixed, shining with clarity. That is to say, transcending the perception of things as they are, the great wisdom body of the generation and completion stages in union manifests clearly, yet its essence is emptiness. While the nature of reality is emptiness, the essence even distinguishes the black and white of the eyes, practicing the generation stage of clear emptiness inseparable like a moon in water, free from grasping and attachment. Those of middling intellect should first meditate on the complete form of the deity. Then, clearly meditate on the form of the head. Once that is stable, gradually meditate on the right hand, left hand, above the waist, right foot, left foot, and finally, completely meditate on the entire body of the deity, including the seat. That is to say, by learning the illusory generation stage that appears clearly, one does not fall into nihilism. When feeling weary, practice the essence of pure mindfulness like a vajra, which is the key to not falling into eternalism. Thus, for beginners with lesser intellect who find it difficult to visualize clearly, they should practice on a permanent form until they are accustomed to it. A skilled craftsman should paint a picture of the yidam deity or create a sculpture, etc., making it vivid and lifelike, and consecrate it. Place it in front of you. Without specifically meditating on "mindfulness as a branch of activity," gaze intently from head to toe without blinking. At first, many conceptual thoughts will surge and flow, and this wavering state is called like a waterfall on a steep cliff. What will arise from that? From the strengthening of the habitual patterns of various postures, even when closing the eyes, it will appear clearly in the mind. This is called the experience of attainment, like a thief obtaining possessions covered by a container, unable to know its true nature as it is. In this way, clear appearance will increase attachment to ordinary appearances. It is not flat and close like a thangka painting, nor bulging like a relief sculpture, not something with substance. Rather, it is a clear and empty illusory body, free from all gross matter such as flesh, bones, and internal organs, like a flawless crystal vase or a rainbow, transparent inside and out, bright and radiant, possessing luster, practicing as exemplified by the reflection appearing in a mirror. And, at first, focus on the deity's body as the object of focus.
