Let the three realms be filled with a net of diseases, inflict plagues upon the enemies who break their vows, burn the phenomenal existence with the fire of reversal. From the western crescent-shaped mandala of power, the self-arisen wisdom Lotus Heruka, the great hero who destroys desire, arises from the space of the Lotus Speech deity assembly. Enjoy this blood-flesh torma of enemies and obstacles, from the minds and mental factors, and the mixing of cause and effect, of us yogis, the patrons and retinue, may you accomplish the activities of dispelling and transforming all diseases, evil spirits, destruction, fear, and the causes of conflict between inner and outer elements, hostile spirits, the eight and sixteen great terrors, and curses, phurba, curses, droughts, and bad omens! Hūṃ! From the red-black crescent-shaped burning mandala, Hayagriva, the king, is the deity who subdues arrogance, his body color is red like burning flames, in his burning hands he holds fierce weapons, with his fierce feet he treads upon the Naga assembly as a seat, burning clothes are displayed as ornaments for his body, the majestic wet elephant skin is the decoration of his body, the pure cultivated skin is the decoration of his speech, the tiger skin of courageous movement is the decoration of his mind, bracelets and armlets suppress the brilliance of black snakes.
