From the purity of the ten grounds, arise the ten wrathful deities who subdue the directions, above and below. United inseparably with the mothers of the ten virtues, they arise from the expanse to subdue the eight consciousness aggregates of the base. Enemies, demons, flesh, blood, and torma, please enjoy! May the diseases, evil spirits, decline, and terrors arising from the confusion of mind and mental events, causes and effects, of us yogis, patrons, and retinue, as well as the circumstances of conflict between internal and external elements and enemies, the eight and sixteen great fears, and all curses, hexes, and bad omens, be averted and transformed! Hūṃ! From above, the deity who subdues Brahma, the wrathful king Hūṃkāra (藏文：ཧཱུཾ་ཀཱ་རཿ，梵文天城体：हुंकार，梵文罗马拟音：humkara，汉语字面意思：Hum sound), possessing the five wisdoms, emits a sound like thunder, dances with his consort. The pig's head that reverses ignorance and wildness, the face of the marmot that dries up the mire of samsara, the time has come to subdue the gods and demons of the upper direction! Hūṃ! From the southern direction, the deity who subdues the pretas, the wrathful king Yama's foe, inseparable from grasping and the grasped; the pure space, the mistress of the charnel ground entwined; the subtle doe's head, inseparable from birth and death; the owl's face, gazing into the darkness of ignorance: the time has come to subdue the southern host of demons; enjoy this offering of flesh and blood to enemies and obstructors! Yogis, we, the patrons and retinues, illnesses and demons, decline and terror arising from the confusion of mind and mental events, cause and effect; and the causes of the conflict of inner and outer elements, enemies and evil spirits; the eight and sixteen great fears; curses, phurba, maledictions, droughts, and all bad omens: please avert and transform them, accomplish the activity! From the southwestern direction, the deity who subdues the unreal, the immovable one, stable like a vajra; the skillful means and wisdom united, the pestle and the yoni entwined; the single bindu, the subtle leopard's head; the khatvanga face of the killer who pierces the core of suffering: the time has come to subdue the southwestern host of demons; enjoy this offering of flesh and blood to enemies and obstructors! From the western direction, the deity who subdues the water lords, the excellent horse, blazing like a melodious sound; the self-nature of the empty bindu, the wrathful mother entwined; the subtle cat's head, suppressing effort and accomplishment; the tawny owl's face, connecting stealthy flight and skillful means: the time has come to subdue the western host of demons; enjoy this offering of flesh and blood to enemies and obstructors!
