Placing it in the west of the lower west is to protect the mandala from obstacles. Otherwise, for the objects of empowerment, these pegs, if not specifically designated, may be acceptable even if they are not complete. However, during grand accomplishment offerings and medicine practices, it is necessary to place specifically designated accomplishment items. The method of placement is also to arrange these empowerment items on top of a three-tiered platform. Here, only empowerment is mainly discussed, so others can be understood from supplementary notes. Around such a mandala: In the east, offering water; in the southeast, foot washing water; in the south, flowers; in the southwest, incense; in the west, lamps; in the northwest, scented water; in the north, food; in the northeast, boundary-holding flowers. In the east, arrange abundant offering tormas, bordered with medicinal alcohol, and arrange tsok offerings and so on as appropriate. Place four knives in the four directions of the mandala, four victory banners in the four corners, and arrange eight arrows decorated with silk and mirrors in the cardinal and intermediate directions, connecting the eight spokes with a net of colored threads. Above, erect a peacock umbrella and a thangka, and cover it with tiger skin or brocade. Outside, connect curtains of silk and so on into a square. In short, make the decoration of the mandala beautiful and dignified, purify it with the three realms, also sprinkle action water, burn gugul, scatter mustard seeds, and together with the mantra of Sumba Ni (Tibetan: སུམ་བྷ་ནི།), dispel obstacles. Immediately after that, perform a brief offering blessing and descent, and at this time, also dissolve the wisdom being of preparation into the mandala. Here, it should be known that because it is a newly completed colored powder mandala, it has the characteristic of not allowing obstacles to enter. In addition, in front of the mandala, prepare in order the blindfold, vajra peg, toothpick headdress, rosary, lingam, staff, white conch shell, cushion, and the text of the practice ritual, which are closely related to the main part of the empowerment. In addition, it is important to visibly prepare gugul, incense burner, scattering flowers, and descent smoke offering items, regardless of that. Second, the main action is divided into three parts: accomplishing the mandala, entering oneself, and bestowing empowerment on others. The first part is: starting from the emptiness and clarity of the container and contents, the meaning of oneself and the front empowerment.

Therefore, as has been clarified, one should straighten one's conduct. And the meaning of the practice is: it is not like other mandalas, where one arises through the involvement of consciousness, through a single self-front ritual; nor is it like the new tantras, where each mandala is generated sequentially with complete rituals and parts. Rather, in this tradition, self-generation is profound, as clear as Anu Yoga within the body mandala; front generation is vast, as clear as the outer mandala generation of Maha Yoga. The cause of the latter's meaning, in the outer five mandalas, the empowerment deity in the Dharmadhatu, and the generation ritual of the vase empowerment, also arise as one image appearing in different mirrors, from the primordially pure, self-arisen Dharmadhatu, the spontaneously accomplished compassion's own power, with the unpreventable interdependence of appearances, arising as one. In other texts, the empowerment deity is immediately invited when approaching empowerment. If so, then do the mandalas made of colored powders, etc., not perform the act of empowerment? It is not that they do not perform the actual act, but because they empower through focusing intention, therefore the explanation of obtaining empowerment from that mandala is established. In reality, the Dharmadhatu deity and the Vajra Master are inseparable, therefore they perform the act of empowerment. What is that? "The flower of wisdom is offered to the sky." And, before the mandala is withdrawn, "Om Hum Bam Hoh (Tibetan: ཛཿཧཱུྃ་བྃ་ཧོཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: जः हुं बं होः, Sanskrit Romanization: jah hum bam hoh, Literal Chinese meaning: Zha Hum Bang Hoh) dissolves into the deities and the form of the three syllables," from this one can understand very clearly. In this, the mandala of generation is combined with the Vajra Master's intention and conduct, and there are four differences: the master is a fully enlightened Buddha, and for the disciples who are great Bodhisattvas who have entered the ten bhumis and the edge of the continuum, the great pure wisdom mandala of empowering the fruition empowerment as the nature of great light; the master is one who has entered the edge path, and for the disciples who are Bodhisattvas who have entered the ground of seeing and meditation, the samadhi mandala that is emanated and empowered as equal to space, the mandala of accomplishing Dharmadhatu wisdom; the master is a knowledge holder who abides on the ground, and for the disciples who have perfected the qualities of accumulation and application, the awareness experience mandala of empowering in the experience appearance illusion mandala; the master is one who has attained the unwavering, stable samadhi reaching
