As accumulated by the lord of heroes, it is given as desired. From materials such as cotton and wool bought with money, a five-colored thread spun by a young, qualified woman, or possessing the nature of five sets of five, with a length twice that of the mandala, and a thickness about one-twentieth of the width of the door, is placed in the center of the mandala. The master and the consort abide in the pride of the principal deity, the father and mother. Visualize the thread as invisible, transformed into emptiness. From emptiness, from the five syllables, arise five kinds of threads, transformed into the nature of the father and mother, gathered into one's own body. Melting it into the mind of enlightenment, spread it into the space of the consort. (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) Combine with the movement of the wind and entrust it to the consort. She accepts it, combines it into one, and consecrates it with the mantra of dependent origination. The master faces east and the consort faces west. Emaho! The five Buddha families are the principal deities! Gurus, vidyadharas, and assemblies of deities! Now is the time to accomplish the benefit of others. For the sake of compassion for me and all beings, please grant the excellent Samantabhadra thread. (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) Recite three times, accompanied by the sound of the damaru, and grasp the boundary of space, the space between the two center points, with the thumb and index finger of the right hand. Extend the thread with the left hand. Then draw four wisdom lines, or eight, or sixteen, etc., drawing the lines without error. With the sound of the thread, invoke the guru, vidyadhara, all-encompassing mandala, together with the support and the supported, clearly appearing in the sky above. From that, rays of light radiate, and all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions appear like gathering clouds. Visualize them dwelling in the sky above, and make offerings and praises as appropriate. Alternatively, after the deity is prepared, draw the complete lines. Here, only two wisdom lines and Brahma lines are drawn, and with the sound of the thread, invoke all the Buddhas, dissolving into the thread. Then visualize the second thread breaking, and draw one on each of the Brahma lines of the two karma lines. After that, draw the complete wisdom lines on all the karma lines. It is said that the appearance of the mandala to be drawn in the sky, etc., is not the view of the Anuttarayoga Tantra. However, Guru Sangye Sangwa said the opposite in the 'Subduing Tantra,' so it should be that way.

Just as there are many activities in the mandala, it is also said that accumulating merit is very excellent, so the Unsurpassed (tantra) does not need to make such restrictions. Why? Because there is nothing special to be prohibited, and there is even more need for it. Then, drawing the lines: the thread is on the side, or if not, the thread of the wisdom being Vajrakila (Tibetan: བཛྲ་མུས་, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्रमुस्, Sanskrit Romanization: vajramus, Chinese literal meaning: Vajra Peg) of the line that has just been drawn can also be used. Mix it with the five elixirs and white glue, and draw the lines without confusing the directions as before: East, West, South, and North, two central lines. Fire, Wind, Rakshasa, and Power, two corner lines. Look for bird tracks and follow the ritual. Draw the parts of the eight great lines. The area of the four squares that appear well. Divide into sixteen large parts. Then, starting from the left and right large parts of the two central lines. First, draw half, and then draw the other half. Second, divide into four parts. The third and fourth are the eyes, and the fifth is discarded in the middle. The sixth draws half, and the other half draws. The seventh divides into four parts, and the eighth discards the middle. The outer layer of lotus petals is half the size. A small part of the aura of the five lights. Therefore, the charnel ground is one large part. The vajra fence is two small parts. The fire mountain is one large part. All of these are drawn in a circle. The center circle is half the width of the door. Its aura is one small part. The eight-spoke wheel is half the size. Outside of it are two layers of lotus petals. Half the width of the door, half the eight petals. Draw an aura of five lights around the edge. The golden ground and the blood ground. Separate the three small parts without mixing them. Four doors, four kinds of horse heads. Ox back, three eyes, stone wall, etc. Understand as in the Gongdü (Compendium of Intentions). At that time, as it is said: If the thread breaks, the master dies. If the end of the thread is lost, the disciple dies. If the direction is wrong, both are destroyed. The lineage is cut off and the path is harmed. Therefore, the wise should do it carefully. Thus it is said, do not be with the thought of inherent dormancy, the behavior should be very cautious, and the mind should be vigilant. At this time, it is necessary to subdue the line, and one should visualize using the syllable Hrih (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Shame) to lift the line into the sky and enter under it. The second is to apply the colors: The best is precious jewels, the middle is grains and medicines, and the lowest is pigments. Place the five colors that symbolize the wisdom of one's own place in separate containers without confusing the directions.
