After completely destroying them, they also propagated the Buddha's teachings as far as the sacred land (India). Thus it is said. The origin of the *kla-klo* (referring to Islam) is: When the teacher Nagarjuna was residing in the south, a holder of the Vinaya Pitaka named 'Youthful Army' was possessed by a wicked demon and founded the *kla-klo* (Islam) sect, which preached harm as its doctrine. The manner of this is as stated in the secret words: 'Assuredly, merciless warriors, never flee on the battlefield, if they manifestly turn towards battle, they will be reborn in the higher realms after death.' They speak in accordance with this. Among the sects of the *mu-stegs* (referring to Hinduism), there are those who respect cause and effect and whose views are close to the inner path (Buddhism). If such types can be subdued by the pure Prasangika, they can be tamed like the teacher Hero and abide in the characteristics of a great being. Here in the land of Bod (Tibet), those householders who boast of being monks but do not care about cause and effect and wholeheartedly engage in harming others in various ways cause people to lose faith in the Dharma and render futile the activities of the three ancestral kings who entrusted power to the Sangha. In reality, this is close to the religion of the *kla-klo* (Islam) and is a precursor to the decline of the Dharma. As shown by the verses such as 'Patience is asceticism, patience is supreme.' The Rum-pa clan is called 'Rushka' in Tajik, and from the clan it is called 'Turub,' and from the religion it is called *kla-klo* (Islam), but he does not like it if that name is spoken in front of him, so he is called 'Muslim.' His horse is twice or many times larger than other horses, so its name is 'Tajik Durki.' In the south of Tiling-pa, there is a kingdom called 'Bhoronghi,' where both the people and the horses are very strong. It is said that he is a descendant of the seahorse, with firm muscles, and can even ride underwater, so the distance that other horses can cover in three days, he can cover in one day. But it is difficult for all horses to be like that. Here in Tibet, the upper Hor and its horses are proclaimed to be like rabbits jumping off cliffs. The prophets also proclaim in the same way, and these seem to be undifferentiated mixed sounds. The upper and lower treasure troves, and the undisputed prophecies of Yarje Orgyenpa, etc., are that formerly Kublai, the brother of King Sechen Khan, did not obtain the throne and was allotted a hundred thousand troops according to his share.

When Chinpa was brought and settled in the upper region, it was called Upper Hor, and China was called Lower Hor. Not long after settling down, when Sakya and Drigung took the conduct of crows, Drigung Gonpo led the Hor army upon Sakya. The Chinese general Timur Bukha and the great officer Anglan led an army of thirteen myriarchies of Tibet and devised a plot against Upper Hor in Palmo Palthang. Two mule-loads of ears were cut off, and the heads and hands of some of the leaders were cut off. Hulagu's prince Rinchen and Drigung Ponpo were captured and taken to Sakya, and later Hulagu's son was released according to the decree of the Chinese Pajia. The heart of the meditating master Ponpo was cut out from his back and used for blood sacrifice, thus losing the good blood of both men and horses. Their descendants cannot be determined in India, but in Kashmir near Skorto they are called "that person." In Orgyanpa Rinchen Pal's "Autobiography of the Path," it says: After passing a little distance from Desa, there is Kuluta and Maruti, part of the twenty-four places. Then there is the great mountain Gandala, then Jalandhara. After twenty days, you reach Chandabhaga. Before that, it is called Hindu, a mixture of India and Muslims. After passing through the source of the Kashmir River, there are seven hundred thousand cities called Hora. From then on, each day passes by the Medicine Salt Mountain, Bhaṭola, Malakotṛe, and arrives at the seaside where pearls are produced. There, King Hulagu's temple is built. After that, after five days, you reach the city called Rukala, and after four days, you reach Raja Hur. It is said that it is one of the four gates of Orgyan, and based on this, from the southwest direction of the road, Malakotṛe is clearly the location of Upper Hor. Fifth, in the time of Rinpoche, the Mongol Ganden destroyed Ladakh. The Ladakhis bribed the Pajia king through local officials and led the army to support them, and it is said that they were also destroyed. But Ruma and Tiling are not, and Bhorong is far away. The Klaklo people call the large kingdom Pajia, because that is the name of the king, so Upper Hor and Pajia are not distinguished, so there is no reason for that Hor. What everyone is sure of is death. Death cannot be avoided even by hidden places. When the Dharma declines, the liberation of
