Hatred resides in the mind itself. If hatred and anger are completely cut off, Enemies can easily become friends. Belonging to the five categories of close relatives, Do not commit adultery with a woman under the law. Like the story of the face in the mirror, Judgment is made without partiality to relatives or strangers. It is for the sake of protecting oneself. Always look back at friends. With this auspicious connection of being friends with everyone, Many enemies will disappear. When going to the next world, Royal power and enjoyment will not follow. Diligently practicing Dharma, Is the most excellent among all ascetic practices. The first chapter of "Excellent Sayings of Advice to the King." A person who craves sleep and drowsiness, Will not obtain goodness. If he obtains it, the fault of laziness, The statement will become false. Whoever dwells in stinginess, Even if he obtains abundant enjoyment, At the time of death, in the city of evil destinies, It is heard that he will go empty-handed. Killing the life of another being, That is killing oneself. What need is there to mention the decline of others? Even in this world, life will be short. A person who enjoys drinking alcohol, Will not protect lineage and qualities. The glory of a great position and wealth, Will disappear along with the contempt of the wise. If things decline due to laziness, How can one obtain new ones? Even if one possesses perfect diligence, It will be ruined by lack of discipline. Towards the wealth and enjoyment of others, Generating covetousness and jealousy, Friends will flee, and for the family, It is the door to cutting off gatherings, abandon it. For a person who is extremely biased and cruel, Even parents will flee, What need is there to mention other people? Taming anger brings many attendants, Eating too much is not wise. Let alone the debt of food, The body becomes heavy, virtue declines, And indigestion also attacks life. Liking to be boisterous and talkative, Is a vessel of many regrets, Even if one abides on the path of Dharma, One will be far from the two truths. The mouth is the door of sin, Therefore, speak cautiously among many people. Evil words pour down like a waterfall, Many harms are difficult to reverse. Even if it is a certain true word, A wise person should be cautious whether to speak it or not. The situation where speaking the truth harms oneself, Is like the story of the cruel Rab Snang. An unrestrained person likes cats, To this, the owner of that house

Alas! One's own wife also becomes an enemy, therefore experiencing much suffering in this life and the next. Coveting wealth and taking what is not given, buying the things of the poor at a low price, at the end of extremely diminished fame, body and possessions are plundered by others. Some deeds done with lies and slander, may succeed temporarily but ultimately will not. Like the lies of a goblin bird that make oneself, become a place of ill omen. For a person who generates evil thoughts, even if there is merit as great as a mountain, it will immediately decline, look at the example of the king, myself, and my brother. Wrong views cause one's own glory to diminish, this others will not know, like a small kingdom igniting the sparks of war against Ajatashatru. People, even if they do not abide in the Dharma, should still serve their parents. This is the only ladder to ascend to the heavens, as the Buddha said. Do not cause beggars to feel ashamed! If you cause them to feel ashamed, it is like exhausting an eternal treasure. Giving only helps in the next life, even if buried, it will not appear. If it is one's turn to beg, with hasty and arrogant wisdom, while serving the Buddha, because the hope of the poor was not obtained, becoming angry with the teacher, thinking if I were to become king, I would cut off the heads of these people, like one's own head being cut off by a chariot wheel, do not do evil! Because the mind is full of poison, the intention to harm others will fall upon oneself. Be sure to collect the taxes that should be paid, if one does not pay even though one is able to, because the king's treasury will decline, therefore fear the ripening of karma. Wealth that people cannot obtain even with effort, is obtained by thinking of the heavenly realms, that is the power of merit! Look at the example of a person of bad lineage becoming king. Therefore, from a virtuous thought, accumulate all merit, it is better to accumulate merit for one day than to labor for a hundred years. This is the instruction to the people, it is the content of the second chapter, written by Gyalwai Myugu (རྒྱལ་བའི་མྱུ་གུ།) Khyentse (མཁྱེན་བརྩེ།) at Glorious Padma Odling (པདྨ་འོད་གླིང་). The end of the sixth chapter of the Collection of Stories. The seventh chapter of the Collection of Stories, a letter sent to the governor of Sakya, Dege, an earring for the earth to enjoy. A letter sent to the governor of Sakya, Dege, called an earring for the earth to enjoy. Homage to the venerable Manjushri! With compassion treating all beings, like relatives.
