It is the meaning of secrecy. To accomplish profound empowerment and siddhis, it is an infallible oath. Giving the empowerment is the meaning of giving it to the Dharma Lord and those with karmic connections. To ask knowingly, to have doubts and be devoured by demons, the two are the same. Speak with a mind free from hope and fear. Other than the Buddha, the lineage of pride cannot be severed, you Lichavi. Oh, stainless one of noble lineage. To question the omniscient teachings that are evident in the midst of the snowy mountains is like hitting oneself. Why do you want to prove that the Nyingma school is not Dharma? Oh, you with wrong views. In the past and present, everyone has seen this treatise, so they gather together and incline towards it. Remembering kindness and doing good deeds. Therefore, this is of great importance, it is the blessed tradition of the Kadampa. Although the words are uncertain, in meaning rely on the lineage, especially the "One Intention Treatise" of Drigung. In order to make the root and commentary alive, in many detailed explanations, prove with scripture, reason, and logic, and eliminate errors with sharp observation. If created, it will surely become the adornment of the teachings of the practice lineage, so I urge you to make distinctions. For those who slander the Nyingma teachings, whether directly or indirectly, much has already been done in the past, so I vow to do it again. May this virtue make me and all beings one with the inconceivable Dharma nature, with the primordial protector. This was written in response to a long letter of inquiry from Drigung Lama Chinton Drup Kalsang, by Khyentse Özer at Sakya Monastery, may it be auspicious and prosperous. Chapter One of the Collection of Talks. Chapter Two of the Collection of Talks. The Talk on the Unchanging Nature of Reality, called the Earring of the Sky Dancer. The Talk on the Unchanging Nature of Reality, called the Earring of the Sky Dancer. Homage to the Buddha. The one who has gone beyond the limit of all that is knowable, if the truth of the path is abandoned, then the end of words, even if considered good, seems like the appearance of a tenet. If it is certain that this is the case, then remember the unconditioned realm. There are three points to this: a general explanation of the classification of tenets, an explanation of the differences between the tenets of one's own school, and a debate on the profound nature of reality.

This is about abandoning (wrong views). The first point is: both before and after the Victorious One's teachings, there were two types of non-Buddhist schools, such as the schools of the sage Purana, Uggada, and Makali, who established and held onto doctrines based on the idea of a permanent cause. Although there is no path to liberation in the doctrines of the non-Buddhists, there are two possibilities regarding the path to obtaining higher realms through the examination of discriminating wisdom. The first possibility is that, considering that the path to higher realms can be attained by abandoning evil, practicing virtue, and relying on the four concentrations of meditative absorption, they prohibit cursing the texts that meticulously examine non-Buddhist doctrines. The second possibility is that the materialists and others slander the results of actions and proclaim violence as dharma, and so on, are nihilists. Both of these have become accustomed to and familiar with the root of samsara, the belief in a self, from beginningless time. On top of that, they apply the many signs and pervasions of inverted consciousness to the bad doctrines they have established, reversing what should be abandoned and what should be cultivated. Therefore, they cannot cut off the root of the source of afflictions, so they do not have a path to liberation. As it says in the Lankavatara Sutra: "Defiled by non-Buddhist views, covered by consciousness, they speak of the unspeakable." The doctrines of the Buddhist school are virtuous in the beginning, middle, and end, and the path that is taught only has differences in speed of progress, but ultimately it gradually abandons the root of samsara, the self of the person, and the subtle attachment to the self of phenomena, which is the antidote to that. Therefore, there is a genuine path to nirvana. Therefore, the nature of the texts of our own school is also related to the attainment of the path to liberation. So it is said: "This, as the sage said, is respectfully taken on the crown of the head." The second point is that there are four schools of tenets: the Vaibhashika and Sautrantika schools, which hold the texts of the Lesser Vehicle Shravakas; and the Chittamatra and Madhyamaka schools, which hold the texts of the Great Vehicle Bodhisattvas. Whichever of the four schools is held, the first two consider it to be the ultimate word of the Buddha, and those who diligently practice the thought and action taught in their texts are Lesser Vehicle practitioners. The latter two consider it to be the ultimate word of the Buddha, and those who diligently practice the thought and action taught in their texts are considered Great Vehicle practitioners. The school of
